Ah. the sound of bowling pins in the back ground. Calls for a brew. Actually drove here twice from the MSP airport / USAF Base. The signs in the adjoining parking lots stated "NO Town Hall Brewery Parking"... an indication that was a popular venue. Good beer, yes, good food certainly. Friendly personalized service. The very high ceilings in most... More

We stopped here for drinks after a large brunch, for it was the only brewery open on Monday in MN. Their beers are average, some of the seasonal specialties shone. Nice whiskey collection. Very nice and attentive staff. We liked the feel of the bar, old, lots of history.

Stopped twice at the Hall, once for beers and later for a meal. As a sixty something I found the atmosphere pleasant, quiet enough and staffed with an above average set of waitresses that hustled. Beer selection was good and the menu, through limited, tasty.

Town Hall Brewery is located right next to the University of Minnesota campus on the West Bank. We went there last night after a rehearsal at the Ted Mann Concert Hall with some local musicians and out of town guests. The atmosphere was very comfortable for talking. I expected to see more of a student-oriented crowd, but it seemed to... More

I was here last spring, and we had a delightful meal with great service. Stopped here Sunday afternoon, and the menu was run of the mill bar fare, with not too many options. Two of us ordered a flatbread with meat and (advertised as) greens. The meat was too spicy and tasteless. The greens consisted of a few spinach leaves.... More

Town Hall has a great outdoor patio that is large and shaded from the hot afternoon sun, and there are some trees, too, that make it a nice place to eat outside. There is also a Nice Ride (bike share) station adjacent to the patio. The service was average (but fast), and the food was average, too. We got the... More

We stopped here after a long drive for vacation and had a great time sitting outside in the patio. All we had was appetizers and they were good. The kids had the homemade root beer, with free refills, very good according to them. We had a few of their brews and really enjoyed them. Lauren our waitress was friendly and... More

Our hobby is finding craft breweries and checking out their beers - and food. Town Hall was fabulous. Excellent food, excellent brews, excellent service. Just a really nice place. As is the case with many craft breweries, Town Hall is located in a wonderful old building. The only thing we didn't like was trying to find parking. If you park... More

A really nice place for lunch or dinner. The beer menu of unique beers is balanced and offers a variety. The food menu also has a variety of very good selections. I highly recommend the flatbread pork taco. The pork is tender and the taco is similiar in size to a burrito. The cheese curds were also very good.

We old folks like going here because we are welcome and the beer they make here is excellent. Also, the servers are very cordial.
