Location was excellent and walking distance of my hotel. The atmosphere was charming. We appreciated the Waitresses candor. When we asked her if the bloody Mary was an "amazing" bloody Mary (like the bloody Mary at Maxwells we had yesterday) she said, "not really ". In spite of her recommendation we tried it anyway and she was right, it was... More

We dinned here twice and found the food very good, service quick and pleasant, and the beers on offer were very quaffable

Went here for dinner and breakfast while staying in town for a Vikings game. The dinner was delicious, I had the pasta and you must try the stuffed pretzels. It was so good, we returned on our last night for dinner. The burgers were great too! We went for breakfast before the game since they have a buffet before every... More

Excellent walleye fish and chips, very tasty craft brews served by pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Fun area of town, well rehabbed, providing an eclectic range of distractions.

Good beer selection. Inside bar nice. Outside seating was fun to people watch. Would go back if in the area again.

Really good food. Menu is more pricey than the Republic across the street but more varied. Beer selection is not as varied but has a nice mix and much is brewed locally. Nice outside seating as well. Dinner for two ran about $60 without desert.

I went to Minneapolis for the 2014 MLB All-Star game and to test widespread claims that the city has the best burgers in the US. My hotel recommended this place, a short walk away, in a trendy mix of ethnic and comfort food. This place delivered on the burger. Thick, juicy, filled with onions and special spice. I'm still partial... More

Friendly service with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Easy to find. Good size portions of good but best is their beer selection. They have a number of different flights if you like to sample a variety. That was unique. They also have scotch and whiskey flights if you want. It is a little loud if you want to carry... More

Since the answer is always "bad news first," I will begin with the bad: -They were out of several beers, including one of their house beers! This did not ruin the experience by any means, but it was a little disappointing. Now, the good: -Huge beer selection and good seasonal choices on tap. They offer a lot of local choices... More

The most difficult thing about eating or drinking here is parking. In the evening, the meters are off but you still have to hunt around for a spot. Once inside, however, the food and the beer are fantastic. My wife had a penne dish with buffalo sauce and chicken. I had the salmon & wild rice burger. I got a... More
