I went to Minneapolis for the 2014 MLB All-Star game and to test widespread claims that the city has the best burgers in the US. My hotel recommended this place, a short walk away, in a trendy mix of ethnic and comfort food. This place delivered on the burger. Thick, juicy, filled with onions and special spice. I'm still partial... More

Friendly service with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Easy to find. Good size portions of good but best is their beer selection. They have a number of different flights if you like to sample a variety. That was unique. They also have scotch and whiskey flights if you want. It is a little loud if you want to carry... More

Since the answer is always "bad news first," I will begin with the bad: -They were out of several beers, including one of their house beers! This did not ruin the experience by any means, but it was a little disappointing. Now, the good: -Huge beer selection and good seasonal choices on tap. They offer a lot of local choices... More

The most difficult thing about eating or drinking here is parking. In the evening, the meters are off but you still have to hunt around for a spot. Once inside, however, the food and the beer are fantastic. My wife had a penne dish with buffalo sauce and chicken. I had the salmon & wild rice burger. I got a... More

We arrived around 4:30pm on a Monday, which was a good thing because the place filled up very soon after we got there. My beer was good (Hope and King Scotch Ale). My husband's was outstanding (cherry Grand Cru). I am gluten free, so food items were limited, so I ordered a black and blue burger with no bun and... More

Interested in wasting a few hours before a concert, we hit up Town Hall Brewery on a Saturday afternoon. It was our first visit, but I'm pretty sure it won't be the last. Our server was very well versed in the beer menu and with over 10 craft brews on tap everyone found something that suited them perfectly. In fact,... More

We arrived late on a Thursday night for a bite to eat and a beer. Very knowledgeable server, quick service for both the beers and the appetizers. Very close to downtown hotels.

My friend and I stopped for a beverage and something to eat. Went to the bar to get the drinks and went outside. A worker told us to grab a menu and we could sit anywhere outside. By the time we finished the drinks we still hadn't had anyone take our food order. The beer was ok, but we left... More

Ah. the sound of bowling pins in the back ground. Calls for a brew. Actually drove here twice from the MSP airport / USAF Base. The signs in the adjoining parking lots stated "NO Town Hall Brewery Parking"... an indication that was a popular venue. Good beer, yes, good food certainly. Friendly personalized service. The very high ceilings in most... More

We stopped here for drinks after a large brunch, for it was the only brewery open on Monday in MN. Their beers are average, some of the seasonal specialties shone. Nice whiskey collection. Very nice and attentive staff. We liked the feel of the bar, old, lots of history.
