This place was around the corner from my hotel and had a terrace on a bizzy corner, great people watching. My waiter was super friendly and funny too. I enjoyed their homemade pasta.

Had high hopes based on the TripAdvisor reviews, and it is a beautiful, interestingly art deco decorated place. I guess it was our waiter who just had this arrogance about him, wasn't very helpful and seemed to not appreciate very basic questions from experienced diners unfamiliar with the menu. The food was good. Amazing appetizers (both the tuna and the... More

Excelent choice for italian dinner in Minneapolis! Located on Nicollet Mall, is a pleasure to walk afterwards! Menu changes with the seasons but I had the ricotta and spinach raviolis and almoat asks for seconds.

I go to Zelo a lot for business meals. The main appeal for me is that it has a menu that has something appealing for almost everyone - including meat lovers, pasta lovers, and vegetarians. Also, the pre-meal bread is amazing. The atmosphere is quite nice but the acoustics are not great. If I am dining with more than one... More

I did the whole thing. Ciao salad was fabulous,Tortiglioni Rossa which is sausage, sweet peas, roasted peppers, romana rossa sauce and finished with the budino a molten chocolate cake. All were perfectly prepared. Service was excellent, friendly, helpful, but not over bearing. If I were ever in downtown Minneapolis this restaurant would be at the top of the list. I... More

Everything was great, service, food, dining room. Our waiter, Tony, did not rush us, had plenty of suggestions. Nice location, close to everthing.

When I read the menu I was surprised at the simplicity of the item descriptions. However, I was blown away by the combination of complex and simple flavors that had me sinking back into my seat in bliss from the very first bite. The waiter advised us that they make all the pasta in-house so that is what I tried.... More

Great food and greater service! Seafood was amazing and waiter (John) was just fantastic. The timing pace and sophistication of this casual eatery makes it worthy.

Our hotel desk agent recommended this restaurant, so we walked the few blocks to check it out. We were a little hesitant because we were dressed quite casually - on our way to Target Field. The hostesses assured us we were quite welcome and promptly seated us. Our waiter was attentive and fun. He took good care of us without... More

Our family of 5 (kids 10, 9 & 7) dined here on a Friday evening. The restaurant was not crowded, but there was a nice, positive vibe from the Young Happy Hour crowd. We were given a nice big table, with crayons and paper for the kids to use. Kids menus are offered. A nice beer and wine selection was... More
