Had to try because of "GUY"

What a step back in time. This was quite the dining experience. Beautiful old school atmosphere, courteous servers, food portions more than you can eat, fresh and hot off the grill. The whole experience is in itself will leave you talking about it for days... A must do when visiting Minneapolis, Mn.

The Polish food is delicious...There is a lot of it.. The wait staff and bartenders are very, very good . It is an all around great experience and the piano bar is a great addition.

The short ribs are to die for. My husband hunts 4-5 months out of the year and so he offered ten years ago to take me for a weekend getaway before hunting season starts. The first place I took him for supper was Nye's. We don't miss it. We were so sad to hear it may be gone soon. The... More

So glad I got to Nyes before they close. Classic supper club. Good food great service and atmosphere that is almost lost. Go Go before it's gone for good.

We had a lot of fun eating here! Loved the ambiance of Nye's as well as the food! Make sure you're hungry when you get there they definitely don't skimp on the portions!

Saw nyes on Triple D & since my husband's ethnic background is Polish, had to try this place. Easy to find with off street parking. I ordered the plate with Polish sausage, sauerkraut, pierogis (filled dumpling, & a large potato dumpling. Plenty of food. Pretty good except the sauerkraut was more tart than what we are used to. Our church,... More

Excellent way to see a good cross section of Minnesota - young, old, hip, jocks and all join in at Nye's.

If you love Polish food and you love the movie 'Goodfellas", GO HERE! Seriously, the decor, the lighting, everything about the ambiance screams throwback gangster days, but you'll LOVE it! The food was delicious. The cabbage rolls were especially tasty. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the coffee after dinner. It was bitter and not at all what... More

Went to Nyes for dinner here because it was my parents favorites! My father died last Sept. And they are closing. We had soup, polish sausage soup great, Cajun Prime Cajun soup not so much. Vegetable tray great. Ordered Cabbage Rolls, dry, no flavor. Mashed potatoes great, Au Gratin nope!
