Great food and value

Business dinner with friends. Very impressed by quality of food and value. Enjoyed mussels and calamari followed by gnocchi. Definitely would return.

They have a unique business model: you wait over an hour (if you are lucky) for average (at best) food. Almost any other Italian restaurant in Minneapolis that we have visited is better by far.

My wife, a friend of ours and myself ate dinner here before attending a play at the Museum of Russian Art nearby. I ordered fettuccine d' Alfredo, my wife had risotto con cariofi, and our friend had rissoto con salmone. All of our meals were delicious. We were also impressed with the prompt and friendly service and the attention we... More

The food was remarkable; some traditional dishes but some with a different flare; either way if you like Italian you need to eat here. We arrived early and were seated right away but they have a very inviting patio to have a glass of wine or drink if have to wait. This place is a must.

I visited Minneapolis for business and ate at Broders' Pasta Bar twice during my 5 day stay. I sat at the bar both times and had a great experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, but the real star here is the food. On my first visit, I enjoyed the bread service (the crisps are great) and ordered the fettuccine... More

You have to love a waiter who doesn't recommend the most expensive wine. Ours listened to what we like in a wine, and made a recommendation that was spot on. He further impressed us when he remembered that the Cardi Fritti had pork in the aioli sauce (a fact not mentioned on the menu, by the way), and recalled that... More

We came early (around 5pm) to eat, knowing there are no reservations taken. We were seated immediately and took our time to review the extensive wine list. Many wines are available by the glass or half bottle as well as full bottles. Our waiter asked about our usual wine preferences and recommended a mid-range wine (Roccamora from the Puglia region... The Fettuccine Ala Bolognnese was excellent! The fresh made pasta was amazing. The waiter was very helpful in assisting with questions about the menu. And being seated at the pasta bar was very cool as you could see the flurry of activity from the cooks.

The restaurant only had 3 tables occupied but for some odd reason, it took so long for the food to arrive. I would understand if we put in a special accomodation request but we just ordered straight off the menu. The price is also a little high compared to what you get. We usually go across the street to the... More

Went last night around 5:15 & were lucky to get right in. Bryan was our server & although another reviewer mentioned they didn't have good service from him we had the opposite experience-- excellent service from Bryan. He was more than helpful answering questions & making suggestions. He did check back with us & we did order another drink. We... More
