Even a Vegetarian Can Be Happy Here

During my recent trip back to my hometown, I convinced my mother to take me straight from the airport to Wise Acres for lunch. In spite of the fact the special of the day involved pork stuffed zucchini - I am a vegan eater - and I recalled most of the menu is quite meaty from past visits, I... read more

Five for the bacon! But fewer stars for everything else, including the service. I know everything is farm fresh, and that's great; you expect to pay a little more. But at least on our visit, the portions were very small. The hash comes in a small bowl with plain vegetable chunks, ham, maybe two whisked eggs and a half slice... More

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio (dog friendly). Most of the ingredients on the menu are from the family farm, so yum! The bacon (thick sliced) was the best I've ever had and the farmer style potatoes were great too. They have some cleverly designed drinks - mine was sparkling wine, bitters, and a raw sugar cube and... More

My wife and I have dined at Wise Acre multiple times over the last few years, most recently two weeks ago. Food is creatively presented, delicious, and leaves you wanting more. Every meal starts with seasonal popcorn, the salads are always interesting, and the duck and chicken dishes are awesome. The service is also always top notch. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed the experience and the food was fresh and high quality. We spent close to $50 for two of us, which seemed expensive, although it was great knowing the ingredients for fresh and it was a true farm to table experience. The menu option were varied and unique to this experience, and somewhat limited depending on your tastes. We... More

BEST BACON EVER! Their breakfasts are really good, there was nothing left on ANY of our plates. Particularly enjoyed the "If You Must" eggs and the "Back to Bed" French Toast! No reservations are accepted for breakfast and lunch, so plan to wait 20 minutes for a table, longer if you want to eat out on the patio. Service is... More

Urban, fresh establishment in a delightfully creative space. Food was delicious although menu choices were limited. Our first time and hope to eat there again when visiting the area.

I grew up in rural Minnesota and each year my family would purchase a half cow for the freezer. Back then (in the 60's) the beef was just so very different than anything you can buy today. It was just so much more flavorful and fresh! Wise Acre Eatery, while being a beautiful little green oasis on a winter day... More

First impressions are important and I have to say that the fact that Wise Acres Eatery is in a renovated filling station is cool. The planters outside, though were still from winter looked unique and beautiful. I can only imagine what they look like during the rest of the seasons. Interior is modern, hip and inviting. Seating is close, because... More

I am very mixed on how I liked this place. I loved the outside with the tables, their sign, and being in a former garage. Parking is very tight. I had the special, which was a sloppy joe, and should have paid attention when they said they added a very slight spice for seasoning. The first taste was good, but... More
