Ate here with a couple of friends before heading off to Pride festivities. The menu was small but everything looked really delicious. I had the veggie sandwich with a side of greens and it was good. They have an extensive beer list, but you can order your favorite cocktail, too. I don't remember what the wine selection was. I tried... More

This place is worth a visit ... A return visit too. Got in late to the hotel and needed some food and a good cocktail. This was a great choice. Ordered the Kale salad, poutine, angus burger, cider, Sazerac (excellent), Mule Deer (also excellent). I would definitely come back ... Quality food and great selection of quality beer and liquor.... Rustic surrounding, many craft beers. Food was delicious, we had the salmon. Could not have been happier. It was mid afternoon so it was quiet, had a table by the window overlooking the hustle and bustle of uptown area.

We traveled to Minneapolis this past weekend for a concert and stayed in a hotel right across the street from the Republic so we decided to give it a try for breakfast since we heard they had brunch AND bloody Mary's. I will mention that the inside of the restaurant is very neat and there is plenty of seating and... More

You are probably better off to go here for Happy Hour and late night if you want to mingle with other humans. The food was good, though standard. Our server was polite and efficient...as she had only ONE other table of customers! We thought the place was closed...and it was 12:15 p.m.! But it certainly made it easy to get... More

We were going to a different establishment that is under construction so came in here. I remember being in the restaurant 15 years ago and the interior stained glass is very cool. Pub food that was tasty and numerous tap beers. Recommend if in the area.

We visited Republic with a large group during a summer happy hour. The staff accommodated us by rearranging some tables so that we could sit outside together. Each of us enjoyed our drinks and food. House wine was only $3 a glass, and the mushroom-quinoa burger was simple, satisfying, and a mere $6.

I had read good things about here so wanted to try myself. Nice dark pub atmosphere with nice selection of tap beers. Food was creative and good flavor. I sat and ate at the bar but bartender was very attentive and pleasant. Would be a great place to join friends!

I really like this pub with food in the Seven Corners neighborhood. Friendly bartenders and wait staff serve up many different brews including many excellent local beers and ales. Mixed drinks and wine also available but not the reason for Republic to be here. Food is good pub grub, satisfying and good portions. Friendly mixed crowd of all ages make... More

Nice setting in older building that take advantage of that look. Nice brick walls, stained glass, high ceiling, exposed structure. Food was excellent. Would like to go back and make my way through the beer selection.
