Obsessed with navrattan korma

The staff is lovely and their service is quick. I've eaten here a couple times but now it's officially my favorite Indian/Nepali/Tibetan place! Check out their mission statement, they use local ingredients/farmers. Please go enjoy some biryani, naan & these sweet potato appetizer things! Oh and of... read more

My wife and I have been regulars here since it opened. After trying every other Indian restaurant in the Twin Cities we were so excited to see Gorkha Palace move into the amazing Northeast. Prices as a little higher but there is a great reason. They are committed to being as green as possible and all their ingredients fresh and... More

Gurkha Palace food is very good. They are accommodating in the heat of the dish. If you want it hot they can do it if you are like me and don't like it hot they can do that too.

This was our second and best time here. We had Naan, mo-mo, chicken soup and my date something else i forget. New oven makes this naan awesome...great for dipping in my soup that had a nice amount of meat. Not fancy yet a calm dining exp with excellent service from hostess to server! Tables & chairs for seating. There is... More

We were in for some Indian food in the neighborhood and we were not disappointed. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it was the best indian we ate ever, but our dishes were delicious and they have several local craft beers to choose from. The service was delightful and I would go back without a second thought.

The owner of our B and B recommended this restaurant when we asked her for suggestions for dinner. We couldn't have been more pleased. It wasn't crowded on a Monday night and we were seated right away. Our waiter took time to make recommendations and go over the menu with us. We started with samosas and the house special, mo-mos:... We absolutely love this Indian/Nepali/Tibetan restaurant although dinner hour gets pretty busy so you may need to wait for awhile. Our favorite items on the menu include the okra/potato curry and the fish curry. We've tried most items on the menu and liked almost all of them. And don't even get me started on the momo's, they are the best... More

Everything we had was wonderful. They have a scale of 1-6 for how spicy you want it. My hubby usually would get top of the scale but ordered it with a 3 since we were sharing and I can't eat spicy food anymore. Wow his gave me instant hiccups (yes I know, I'm weird but spicy food gives me bad... More

Just ate here tonight after 3 years in Switzerland missing good Indian food. Gorkha Palace was fantastic - the rosemary garlic naan, the momos and the entrees were all great. That they locally source organic food and are clearly an integrated part of the community (5 years this week) makes this our new local favorite.

Even though we've eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants, the Nepali items on the menu were new to us, especially the Momo and the Hariyo Saag. I'm glad we tried both, but probably won't have them again. The Momo pot stickers are a house specialty, but neither of us is a great fan of these doughy treats. The Hariyo Saag... More
