Lucky us! We got to the airport with enough time to grab a bite and what do we find (across from our gate, no less!), than this amazing wine bar/restaurant! At first, I thought it was just your standard "grab and go" because you mostly see the refrigerated to-go case from the front. However, my husband directed my attention to... More

Unfortunately, the info booth rep when recommending top choices for restaurants did not mention this place :/ After dinning @ Ike's we stumbled upon this wine bar/market. Wow! It looked delectable...it was apparent the ingredients were fresh as well as a nice variety of wines. Ahhhh........ the pastries looked incredible (refer to pic's). I decided to purchase 2 "Salty Dog... More

Context: Needed lunch without having much time to order and eat; came across them while walking from one gate to another at the airport Pros: orderTuna Salad Nicoise, a little high in price, but fair, and the freshness and flavor were great!. Timely and friendly service and was able to get in and out quickly and then eat. Someone saw... More

You only need 30 mins to eat a decent meal prior to boarding. I ordered the smoked salmon salad! Delicious! Complete with capers, lemon, greens and a light dill potato salad. The bread is fresh. My husband had a delicious Italian meat sandwich. Try it. It's much much better than the food court.

Came here 4th of July and was actually looking forward to having something here as we had a 3 hr layover and had eaten here before (had had great experiences and had not written a review before) well we were shocked when we arrived and they told us they were closed at 5 pm (the place was dead but sure... Small place that seats about 30 people. Power outlets at every seat. Too many people might cause the power to go out or just plain ruin the ambiance of this place. The menu was mouth watering. I couldn't decide what to have as everything looked tasty. With most airport restaurants I can usually just find one or two items. I... More

In the Minneapolis Airport with hours to spare? No problem. Just head to Surdyk's on the other side of the security check points and unwind with some vino fino and fine sandwiches. But don't order the glasses of wine on the list -- instead, go inside the shop and pick out a bottle, which they'll pour with no corkage added.... More

We had a noon flight, so I knew I wanted something to take onto the plane with me. I eat gluten-free, so airports typically don't have a lot of options, outside of pre-made salads, and...meh. I cruised the 'grab-and-go' section and the salads looked fresh and yummy, but I really didn't want to fool with it, crammed into a seat... More

Surdyk’s Flights is a restaurant that redefines "airport food." It was a pleasant discovery following a near strip search experience with TSA. I was traveling with my mother and another sister and we delighted in the innovative Minneapple Panini, the Salami and Roasted Peppers Sandwich and the Fresh Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich on fresh ciabatta. All menu items have suggested wine... More

You are going on vacation and will get into your hotel late. You know that you will want to get into floppy clothes and have a glass of wine, but floppy clothes and hotel bars - not so much. Pack your corkscrew and buy a bottle of wine and a wine diaper at Surdyk's flights. They have a great variety... More
