Came here 4th of July and was actually looking forward to having something here as we had a 3 hr layover and had eaten here before (had had great experiences and had not written a review before) well we were shocked when we arrived and they told us they were closed at 5 pm (the place was dead but sure... Small place that seats about 30 people. Power outlets at every seat. Too many people might cause the power to go out or just plain ruin the ambiance of this place. The menu was mouth watering. I couldn't decide what to have as everything looked tasty. With most airport restaurants I can usually just find one or two items. I... More

In the Minneapolis Airport with hours to spare? No problem. Just head to Surdyk's on the other side of the security check points and unwind with some vino fino and fine sandwiches. But don't order the glasses of wine on the list -- instead, go inside the shop and pick out a bottle, which they'll pour with no corkage added.... More

We had a noon flight, so I knew I wanted something to take onto the plane with me. I eat gluten-free, so airports typically don't have a lot of options, outside of pre-made salads, and...meh. I cruised the 'grab-and-go' section and the salads looked fresh and yummy, but I really didn't want to fool with it, crammed into a seat... More

Surdyk’s Flights is a restaurant that redefines "airport food." It was a pleasant discovery following a near strip search experience with TSA. I was traveling with my mother and another sister and we delighted in the innovative Minneapple Panini, the Salami and Roasted Peppers Sandwich and the Fresh Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich on fresh ciabatta. All menu items have suggested wine... More

You are going on vacation and will get into your hotel late. You know that you will want to get into floppy clothes and have a glass of wine, but floppy clothes and hotel bars - not so much. Pack your corkscrew and buy a bottle of wine and a wine diaper at Surdyk's flights. They have a great variety... More

On our return flight yesterday we were early for our flight and decided to look for a salad for lunch. After perusing the food court and other chains we just happened to see the display for Surdyk's Flights. As we had time we were able to sit at a table and enjoy delicious salads and also take a fantastic sandwich... More

I understand it's expensive to do business in an airport as taxes are high, but seriously, the menu is outrageously expensive here. But the main problem was that the exhaust fan was obviously not working very well as I reeked of cooking for my entire transatlantic flight after dining here which was embarrassing!

Surdky's flights offers good food at a reasonable price. If you enjoy wine, try of Surdky's flights, For $20 or under you get four nicely poured wines of different varietals. Take one yourself, or split with with your partner. The lunches are tasty and salads healthy. We had the Tuna Melt and carrot salad. All dishes have a suggested wine... More

I visited here for the first time in February. This place is a welcome addition to the Minneapolis airport. I stopped by briefly as I was looking for something to eat and was invited in by one of the wonderful servers. He was very friendly and made me feel welcomed and like he cared about my business. He knew the... More
