Great brunch.

The menus rotate and the selection was very nice the day that we were there. Pricing is a bit upscale, but the food was fresh and well prepared. They have a rolling cart with baked goods and bubblies.

The is restaurant has received a huge amount of press and fanfare, no doubt because of the prominence of the owners (sons of the Governor). The word on the street is that reservations must be made weeks in advance. Not so. We made same day dinner reservations for seven people. One wonders, however, after dining there, what all the fuss... More

The prices here are way beyond what they should be. The food was, for the most part, cold. The place looks like an old warehouse and doesn't resemble a farm at all, except for the plaid-wear waitstaff that might have looked farmer but had the attitude of a high-scale work staff. (The scent of arrogance?) Anyway, we paid almost $30... More

After hearing rave reviews, my husband and I thought we would try it out before the theater. The menu is small and we found it difficult to find an entree that appealed to each of us. The appetizers or toasts did not appeal to us. We ordered the fish special of the evening which was fine but unremarkable. The portions... More

Passed a really great evening at The Bachelor Farmer. Couldn't get a reservation, so we ate dinner at the bar and really glad we did - enjoyed the chatter with the bartenders and fellow diners. The food was outstanding and really interesting, the toasts especially. Definitely going back to try more of the menu, great atmosphere!!

Brothers Eric and Andrew Dayton, both Minneapolis natives, have had a varied past. It was a law degree and a stint working for the Clinton Global Initiative for Andrew and an MBA from Stanford Business School for Eric who was also a member of Will Steger’s Arctic Transect 2004 dogsled expedition. None of those experiences prepared them to open a... More

Finally we were able to get a table at this very popular restaurant. We arrived late, but it was still busy. Fresh vegetables and really good meat. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service!

I have been hearing accolades of this dining experience since they opened about 3 years ago. We have not had an opportunity to see for ourselves until last Saturday night. We were at MIA to see the new Habsburg Exhibit, and wanted to have dinner at a place we hadn't yet tried. TBF (how the restaurant labels their reciepts) was... More

In town to catch a show, and had a wonderful meal at the Bachelor Farmer. Fresh approach to the menu and wine offering. Four of us shared an appetizer, two "toasts", a side, and two desserts. The groaning board in particular was a favorite. It was also the first time we had seen them divide nice bottles of wine by... More
