Seated at reservation time. Good atmosphere, not to loud even though tables are close together. Great Service, staff was knowledgeable about menu options. Food was very good. Decent drink/wine options. A pricey evening if you want to taste an assortment of what's on the menu.

Group of 8 for a friend's birthday last night. All of the staff was exceptional. Our server, DJ, was very knowledgable about the food. The pork chops are only served on Mondays, and the consensus at our table was that they were the best- one friend literally cried on her first bite. We tried all of the toasts - don't... More

Great spot in the heart of downtown Minneapolis! Went in on a snowy night in Mid December and the service and drinks were great! The bartenders were patient and accommodating as the large group of us took for ever to order and then needed to sample different drinks before making decisions. They handled us with professionalism and patience. Will definately... More

Both the food and the service are excellent (Thank you Joel!). We visited on a Monday night when they have the pork chop available from the pig that is butchered on Friday and then brined all weekend. The desserts blew me away...they make their own marshmallows!

Fantastic, non-traditional food. Everything was amazing. The groaning board was a real treat. I would have never, ordinarily, ordered a single thing from the groaning board, but it was superb. Fun to share! The poached egg and breaded pheasant were both amazing. Very unique restaurant that is excellent. Go for it.

just returned from tropical twin cities (nope..not so tropical)..we had dinner at TBF..as this restaurant is called// first, I will tell you that overall, it was excellent...and frankly, it takes a lot to impress me...and I am really tired of the expensive "fad" food...the food, the concept and the physical space (relaxed warehouse with many touches) are all fantastic...actually, there... This was an unexpected and fresh experience. We started with the bibb salad and the carrot soup (rich and creamy, with sharp ginger flavor), followed by the butternut mousse toasts, and then the meatballs (unusual and delicious complex combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors) I also tried the Pacifik cocktail, which was good, but pretty light (in strength), and... The service was wonderful - everyone made us feel so welcome! We were visiting from out of town with friends from Norway. Each part of the meal was well prepared and presented, especially the Groaning Board - a definite must-eat.

Toast with roasted butternut squash mousse, burnt butter, apples, hazelnuts, and roasted shallots. Is your mouth watering yet? It should be. The food at Bachelor Farmer is truly a delight - a feast for the eyes, mind, and mouth. Every dish we shared, from the appetizer toasts to the duck, beets, seafood, and shellfish was exquisitely prepared and executed. I... More

Three girl friends and I went last night. Busy for a Tuesday evening. Server very knowledgeable about the wine & beer selections, menu and answered all our questions. Food was delicious and much attention paid to presentation.
