Menu changes with the seasons. Fresh taste. Mussel soup and presentation was great. Sharon had sole. Thought the toasted cherry tomatoes were nice addition. Butterscotch por-a-chreme (spelling) dessert was awesome. Share some fries as an appetizers. This place recognizes the balance of flavors

The food here is amazing. I had the best spinach salad ever! Spinach salad for crying out loud! Fantastic, with a poached egg on top. And the inside-out tortellini was one of the best dishes I've ever had. However, one of my dining companions ordered the pink snapper and we really should have sent it back. It was overcooked and... Very enjoyable place to eat and drink. The food is excellent and varied, the beer selection is very good and ever changing and the people are fun, friendly and attentive. I like Tilia so much that it has become my local. The atmosphere is great, although if you like very quiet places this may be a little loud for you... More

I never would have found this place if it were not for a local couple who took us to Tilia for brunch. Every menu item had an original twist to it and the food was wonderful. Service was even better with great suggestions from the server and a friendly attitude even though we were a party of 6 with lots... More

This place is a gem, however it's not hidden. We went for the "In Between" menu. We arrived around 4:30pm. Started with cocktails. Tilia has a solid beer selection from MN micro brews to great Belgian imports, and they serve some of their beers in a hefty 20oz pour. We started with the grilled flat bread with olive oil and... One of our favorite things when traveling is to explore restaurants. Neighborhood restaurants tend to be among our preferred choices as they can provide not only great eats, they can give us a glimpse into the community. Tilia is one of those great finds that if we lived in Minneapolis we would be returning to time and time again. To... More

I live in the Tilia neighborhood and feel very spoiled. This restaurant is a true gem. I have several favorites: the Fish Taco Torta, mussels, butterscotch pot de creme and all the excellent beer choices to name a few. The food is so good, I get stuck on a few items and don't change it up until they change the... More

Great, interesting food in a great location. Eat incredible fresh pea soup, the best fish taco sandwich ever, a creative desert, then walk around Lake Harriet on a summer evening. Heaven. But, at least the night we went, the noise in the place was deafening. A small place, about forty people, how could they make so much noise? To be... More
