I took my sister here yesterday for her birthday lunch and enjoyed our meal! She commented on the vintage look and feel as we had a wonderful red blend. Our server was helpful and friendly and the Butternut Squash Soup was the best I ever had. Hats off to this inconspicuous neighborhood gem!

we hit Tilia for brunch last weekend, and it was awesome. short wait, much better than last time for dinner. we ordered mini doughnuts to start, and they were amazing...filled with smokey maple syrup...seriously great. i ordered a chorizo corn cake topped with poached eggs and salsa verde. Really good. My wife had cinnamon roll french toast, which was a... More

If you read other reviews you'll learn it's hard to get a table, however it's getting easier now that the place has been open awhile. Consider going for lunch - it's quiet and easy to get a table. In the evening you can often get a seat at the bar. It's a friendly place, and the hostess remembered me after... More

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Had a great omelet for brunch. Great neighborhood near Lake Harriet. I went for a walk after as it was a nice day and I had to walk off the calorie intake from Lunch and dessert from Sebastian Joe's down the street. The food was on point. There service, personable and prompt. The... More

My hubby's birthday gave us the perfect reason to try a new restaurant with a twist! Hubby picked "Tilia" The vegetarian me went with the hopes of having flat bread and fingerlings! Have tried the same in million restaurants. How different could that be, huh? How about "out-of-this-world?" And again. I am not exaggerating! The grilled flatbread came with Dukka... More

We went here based on a review from chef Mike Brown, but were quickly disappointed. It took a while for a server to come over to us and after placing our order, never received our coffees. It was painful to watch everyone else sit and enjoy their meal with attentive service (must be locals?!) while we waited and waited for... More

Amazing flavor combinations! I was there for a brunch and had a shrimp and black eyes pea entree with soft scrambled eggs over a cornmeal english muffin. The size was large and very tasty. We sat at the counter and it was enjoyable to watch (and learn) the line cooks do their thing. There is a bit of noise but... More

Menu changes with the seasons. Fresh taste. Mussel soup and presentation was great. Sharon had sole. Thought the toasted cherry tomatoes were nice addition. Butterscotch por-a-chreme (spelling) dessert was awesome. Share some fries as an appetizers. This place recognizes the balance of flavors

The food here is amazing. I had the best spinach salad ever! Spinach salad for crying out loud! Fantastic, with a poached egg on top. And the inside-out tortellini was one of the best dishes I've ever had. However, one of my dining companions ordered the pink snapper and we really should have sent it back. It was overcooked and...
