Fish Tortas, $11. probably the best fish taco in the Twin Cities for the price. Potted meat (pate) $8, one of the best items period. Meat Balls $9. Wild Acre Duck Entree $19. You get the point exceptional food at reasonable prices. Small space, usually crowded, Some might call it cozy, i would say tight. Wait can be long. Good... More

We love our restaurants and had been wanting to try Tilia for a while. We were not expecting it to be one of our new favorites and right up there with the best places in town. Some of our other favorites in this realm are BLG, Butcher and Boar, and Blackbird Cafe. We went on a Sunday night and would've... More

The fish tacos were excellent. We happen to see Tilla featured on some food show and decided to try the place. We walk around lake Harriet often and Tilla is a few blocks away. On a nice summer evening it was the place to be. Parking on the small streets can be a challenge. We had reservations. Given the smaller... More

The food is wonderful, and the presentation even better. We have not yet done the full five course sampler meal, but have very much enjoyed the variety of unusual choices offered throughout the menu.m

This was my second trip there (both for business) and it was very good both times. It is a small place, so you have to get used to it being a bit crowded. If you are looking to spread out in a secluded corner, I wouldn't go here. But IMO the character and cuisine are worth the trip. They have... More

Had a Saturday brunch. Enjoyed the food, pleasant service, but this place could use some sound proofing. Lots of families with little children, which is fine. But there appears to be no effort to deaden the sound on the ceiling or walls. We split a spinach salad, which was nice but $12.00. Had reuben benedict. Again, tasty but not cheap.... More

We have had great meals at Tilia before, but tonight was disappointing. The chicken thighs were very dry and our server was UNFRIENDLY. Instead of asking us what we wanted to order, she came to our table and stared at us. I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. Maybe unfriendly wait staff is part of the vibe, but I... More

Tilia is a nice addition to the restaurant scene of hte Twin Cities. Food is great, sometimes it's even served by the master chef and the owner, and the beer list is also very extensive. There are a couple of problems with this place. First, it should have opened at least a decade ago, because by now the hype surrounding... More

We frequent this neighborhood and have stopped in a few times as we have heard wonderful stories about their food. Saturday brunch and only 1 table left by the door. We were seated immediately and super great service at every turn. It is small and the curtains did a reasonably good job of keeping the heat in. The box with... More

One of our favorite spots. Great food, great atmosphere... Great everything. I'd reccomend it for anyone in town. Great date spot. Good beer selection. Only downside is no patio. One of my favorite places in the city hands down.
