Great Atmosphere & Great Food!

The vibe inside this place is fun & welcoming. The wait was not too bad & they have a waitress taking drink orders of those waiting. Lots to look at & watching the pizza oven was a lot of fun. The beet & arugula salad was amazing to start & the pizza was done perfectly. My husband had the BBQ... read more

We heard of this place on Triple D on the Food Network. Hubby had the My Sharoni which had the house red sauce, mozzarella, natural-casing pepperoni & house-made fennel sausage and I had the Forager which had crimini, shitake, and portabella mushrooms, taleggio, fontina, tarragon & truffle oil . The crust was thin and fantastic. They carry Coke brands in... More

This pizza is phenomenal. Try the Korean bbq pizza- the rib meat is tender and flavorful, and the soy-chili vinaigrette makes the arugula and other flavors pop. The also had the Iowan- great prosciutto. The wood firing makes the crust crispy and delicious. It's a very busy place, so try to go in off hours if possible!

My wife and I recently travelled to MSP and were fortunate enough to eat at Pizzeria Lola's. We had heard of this place from Triple D on the Food Network. A friend of mine ate there two weeks ago and was good enough to send me pictures of his pizza! My wife and I started off with the Meatballs Marinara...neither... More

This is some of the best pizza you will eat. The meats, dough, and sauce are just incredible. The Caesar salad was delicious as well. In addition, the restaurant is simply beautiful. The wall of photo-booth photos and the great copper oven create a unique charm. This is certainly the best restaurant in Minneapolis. I do have one gripe, though.... More

My wife and I loved this place, We found it by searching TripAdvisor and seen that it was ranked number 1 on restaurants in the Minneapolis area. After reading some of the reviews we knew this place gets crowded. So we went in earlier. Our waiter Eric was excellent. He gave us great suggestions. We had the Korean barbecue and... More

Have been to Lola's twice since moving back to Minneapolis recently and now understand why it was always packed when I drove by on previous visits to Mpls. The Forager and the Xerxes pizzas are sumptuous, with flavorful toppings and excellent thin-but-chewy crusts. And Lola's appetizer/side of roasted Brussels sprouts achieves the impossible: it makes the normally near-inedible, delicious. Service:... More

My girlfriend and I had watched a Food Network show where they had pizza at Lola's. We had been wanting to go for a long time but it is always so very busy. This time, a couple of Saturday's ago, we arrived at 4:30pm and even though there was a 30-minute wait, it was well worth it. I tried the... More

I had the the Sunnyside (La Quercia guanciale, pecorino, cream, leeks & two organic eggs sunnyside up) and it was delicious. I am a fan of wood-fired oven pizza and this was definitely a great one. The staff was also excellent, attentive without hovering.

Almost missed this experience due to the Valentine's Day rush. Frustrated with finding a suitable reservation for my wife and me, I resorted to the never-fail resource, Trip Advisor. Punch in "current location", "restaurant", sort by "rank, and there it is. The number 1 choice by diners, Pizzeria Lola. I call and the recording says, "No reservations accepted and no... More
