I was not sure what to expect from Ecuadoran food, but if it is all as good as the quinoa soup and milenesa sandwich we ate for lunch, it is a winner.

Had an early supper on a Friday early evening. Our server was spectacular. She explained the menu & restaurant to us and kept our water refilled. I had a Pacifico beer and the ceviche shrimp appetizer. It was SO good. Served in a delightful, thin sauce and 4 tostados made with plantain. Yum, yum, yum. My partner had the special,... More

Having the good fortune to work in NE Mpls, this is one gem that I am happy to recommend to people who enjoy ethnic food. The Saltado is excellent. I previously had the Saltado with chicken as a carry-out dish for lunch. Last Sat. evening when my daughter and I ate in and the waiter explained that the dish was... More

Make sure you go out of your way to try this restaurant! Stop going to the same places that everyone else goes, and you'll be happy that you did. This small little restaurant sure packs a big punch when it comes to making delicious food. This is the second time my wife and I went here, and this time we... More

My god daughter thinks this place is excellent! (She helped me write this review.) Her favorite dish is Llapingachos con chorizo, potato pancakes w/ rice, chorizo, fried egg, & peanut sauce. Her fresh limeade was frothy and delicious. The vegetarians in our family love this restaurant also. The carnivore like the steaks. And the Ecuadorian fried rice with pork, chicken,... More

Went here for my birthday lunch because it got such great reviews. It is a smaller place, but clean. The server was very nice and prompt and everyone enjoyed their food at our table. They even threw in a piece of tres leches cake for my birthday. Would go here again.

If you want an authentic South America experience, with kind, friendly service, then this is the place to go! Everyone (even the skeptic) in our group of eight raved about the flavors. Order the fried plantains n maybe avoid going during prime hours if u have a group - the seats fill up fast! But it will be worth the... More

The restaurant is small, we missed it when we came to the location using GPS. They could use a bigger sign. The servers were nice and helped us decide our order when requested. We had arrived at 1 pm, so we could still order from the breakfast menu. We tried the chorizo omelette., spicy soup, veg sandwich and a veg... More

We went with friends who had been here before. It's menu is vaguely similar to Mexican, but the fare is far above the norm and far better tasting than most. We ordered four different dishes and shared each of them. We got chicken, pork, beef and shrimp entrees. The pork and beef were tender and great tasting on their own... More
