Unique and fantastic food, service a bit overwhelmed

I was with of a party of 12 on a Thursday evening. Overall, we had a great experience with really amazing food and friendly service. However, the restaurant was pretty packed at the time and required some patience on the speed of the food and drinks. It seemed that the kitchen was a bit... read more

Small ethnic restaurant. Ecuadorian style food - authentic - or so we are told. Friendly wait staff and fast friendly service. Asked the waitress for recommendations... she was right on target and it was delicious. Have been back several times and never disappointed

This is a wonderful little restaurant north of Minneapolis. The waitress and server were super enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress recommended the appetizers and helped us pick out the entree's too - it was all very good! All the meat is so perfectly seasoned and succulent! Definitely have the Tres Leches for dessert - we loved it... More

From the moment you enter you know they care about your dining experience - the young waitress was both enthusiastic and knowledgable about the menu. She was genuinely happy we were going to try a variety of dishes. We had the beef empanadas, the Saltado, the Hornado con Papas and Encocado with Mahi Mahi. The empanadas were perfect just the... This out of the way unconventional eatery mystifies me every time we dine there. Small, crowded, practically elbow to elbow with your neighbors all enjoying the fine cooking that comes out of the kitchen. It truly is an ethnic melting pot of clientele. Specializing in Ecuadorian delights fowl, pork, veg, and my favorite the Ecuadorian fried rice loaded with shrimp and large enough... More

My wife and I decided to explore some local places that we haven't been to. So thankful we decided to swing in. The staff was EXCELLENT only to be outdone by the food. We had the fried rice dish along with the hot pork sandwich (Clearly I don't remember the dish names :) ) and ooooo ahhhhed the entire way... More

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but wow, food is delicious! I wanted a fairly quick lunch spot, but not your average chain restaurant. I used the Trip Advisor app to find restaurants near my and it led to me to this one. I was not disappointed. Service was friendly and food was great - I had the chicken... More

Great service and awesome food. We've been here twice now, and each time, the servers have been super friendly and efficient. Food comes pretty fast, even when they are packed full. Food is amazing..awesome blend of flavors. Top 10 restaurant in Minneapolis for sure!

We had take-out and I chose to try to Mahi mahi encocoda (coconut sauce) with rice. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, and the mahi mahi was cooked to perfection. It was an ample portion. The rest of our family loved all of their meals. My sister recommended the Tres Leche cake for dessert and it melted... More

I was excited to try the dishes, the 3 cheese potatoes pancake which sound great was just ok. I had the roasted pork and it was good. My son loves the fried sweet plantain. The service was good. Long wait, reasonable price but nothing great, just good food.
