I really interesting big barn of a place. The menu is very different from the usual Italian. You can have most dishes either half or full plates. That makes it great fun to share. It is very busy even on a Wednesday night so worth booking. And the Mussel Linguine cooked in sea urchin butter with Chilli was fantastic. Try it,... More

Bar la grassa is a great place to be. Very busy but nice. Service is helpful and very friendly. The food was great. Some very different dishes from what you would normally aspect. We had (a wrong) salad served, but it was good and the prossiuto, which was really great. We ordered three pasta dishes (small) to share. Spaghetti in... More

In my top 5 of Minneapolis restaurants. Great food and atmosphere. The pasta with rabbit ragu and bruschetta with soft eggs are must haves.

Food: I highly recommend ordering a couple of dishes and sharing. Everything we had was amazing. Here are my recommendations: Lobster/Egg Appetizer; Cauliflower gnocchi, ravioli, and baked cod. Amazing!!!!! I am so coming back to Minneapolis just to come to this restaurant! Atmosphere If I was in my 30s and single, this is the place to go after work. Nice... More

Excellent food and atmosphere. The menu is a little drawn out and kind of confusing. The waitress was super helpful and gave some great recommendations. I enjoyed most of what we ordered but I'm not a huge Italian food fan. Definitely a nice place to go for special occasions. Very busy so make a reservation ahead of time.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. All of the food is so fresh and delicious. My favorite is the carbonara or caramelized onion/goat cheese bruschetta. MAKE RESERVATIONS, the wait can be awful.

Me and my wife finally made it to this place. It consistently ranks in the top ten Twin Cities restaurants so we wanted to check it out. Reservations should be made. It totally met all expectations. We were very delighted and will be back for sure. You will not regret coming here.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was busy yet the server was attentive and knowledgeable, and our meals came quickly. It's a restaurant for everyone - there were families, large and small groups, and couples too. All ages in a relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend a reservation. They offer smaller portions which is an excellent idea !

One of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis!! You can choose to get the smaller portion sizes, so you can try multiple dishes! The gnocchi is definitely one of my favorite dishes... but I really don't think you can go wrong with this menu. Great place for a date night or to take friends or family!
