Great Tastes

Black Sheep is on many best pizza lists for good reasons. The thin style pizza is crisp and a perfect platform for great toppings. The fennel sausage is a standout. Local beer and root beer on tap too.

Ate at Black Sheep again tonight. UGH so good! We had the bread to start... delicious and a great price! Then, we had a pizza: half of the 11 and half of the 7. I really don't think you can go wrong here. Such a cute space too. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but they... More

Go for the pizza's! Loved the evoo/cheese/sauce 'square' on thicker crust. Really liked # 7, 11, 5, with nice thin crusts. Bacon dressing on the spinach salad was good without being overbearing. Beer choices ok. Could use more italian red wine choices. Fun, irreverent service. The t-shirts are a bargain at $12.

Unique toppings, wonderful crusts and enjoyable atmosphere for all ages. Salads are big enough for 4 and are not too heavily dressed. nice balance with the pizzas. Wine/beer selection very appropriate for the food.

We had heard all the raves about this pizza so we visited the place with very high expectations. We were a bit disappointed and wondered what all the fuss was about. That is not to say our pizza wasn't good, it was, but nothing to rave about. And when I pay $15 for a 12 inch pizza, I want it... More

The service and the pizza were both good. This is a nice place to meet friends after work to have dinner and a good time.

There are some great pizza places in the Cities, but Black Sheep is hands-down my favorite. No matter what you order, it is fantastic. The salads are fresh (love the spinach blue cheese salad) and are changed frequently for the seasons. They are large enough to share and complement the pizza well. And the pizza--yum! The crust is done to... More

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Wow! Meatball, Ricotta, Garlic was outstanding and the tomato, pepper and olive was on point. Best coal fired pizza in town. Was just at Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. this place blows that out of the water. Nice job guys!

Delicious. No matter what combo you get, its always fantastic. Its a bit much to pay 25 bucks for a pie but then again, you can feed 4. Delicious! I travel about 8 miles and pass 1/2 dozen pizza places on my way to this one. Great crust. Great ingredients. Great selection of beers. I would eat here again and... More

We were there early for lunch so I am sure we missed the crowds and wait. The pizza is delicious and full of fresh and tasty toppings. Crust is thin and not soggy - a typical error as some high-heat/coal-fired pizza locations. Crisp and delicious and light is a perfect description. Don't miss the Oyster Mushroom, Smoked Mozzarella, Rosemary &... More
