Excellent Pizza

Their meatball, garlic, ricotta pizza is so inventive yet also classic and delicious. The crust is thin and perfectly crunchy without straying into flatbread territory. Black Sheep is a favorite go-to restaurant for delivery in my household.

Well, it' wasn't BAD pizza. But it definitely wasn't worth the price either. We visited here on a Sunday evening, so the place was far from crowded. That didn't stop the waitress from being slower then heck. Maybe I'm missing something, but I wouldn't visit here again.

Just an outstanding pizza place - chewy crust, interesting enough topping choices and service with a smile that was prompt. The atmosphere could be slightly more interesting (i.e. add some artwork?) but that's just a minor item. This is a definite high recommendation. I can't wait to eat here again.

Went in on a cold night for a comfy pizza and beer; met all expectations. Upon entering you see the coal fired oven blazing away. Very rustic comfortable North Loop place We had the Fennel sausage and the Persian Beef and both were excellent, so was the beer. The Persian Beef was our favorite and it will be hard ordering... A great place for lunch. If I lived closer, I would be eating lots of pizza. The menu was fun and fresh. I had an Oyster Mushroom, Smoked Mozzarella, Rosemary & Garlic (no sauce) pizza. It was so good, I nearly ate the entire 12-inch pie by myself in one sitting. This was some of the best pizza I have... More

I'm not kidding. I've been here multiple times and have never once been disappointed. Which makes the wait for a table worth it. The pizza options are solid and the crust is to die for. Very good ingredients and tons of flavor. If available, try a quarter or half of a Sicilian pizza to go with your regular order. It's... More

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch, waitress was great at making suggestions for our first visit, even offered her opinion on a beer selection that would complement our pizza selection. Great, trendy atmosphere, we hung out for a while, had another beer and really enjoyed the pizza- great (crispy) crust and perfectly cooked toppings. Excellent

Honestly the food was a 5 out of 5. However we ordered the fire roasted vegetables which came to the table shortly however they had no clean silverware in the restaurant. As we sat in watched our food get cold we finally made it into finger food as they washed silverware. Then we shared with them that my daughter had... More

I had dinner here on a Sunday night. We ordered a pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and green olives (#5 on the menu) and a chopped salad to start. Both of these were really good. The salad had shredded salami in it and was quite tasty. The pizza was crispy and perfectly cooked. My SteelToe IPA on draft no less... More

A excellent place to eat. Really good pizza and salads. But, boy is it ever noisy. Lots of fun going to the restaurant, but don't expect to hear the people sitting across from you.
