Finally found good pizza in Minny

The Sicilian was so good. Chewy and crisp crust, great sauce, good amount of cheese, very tasty. To add a kick we ordered meatballs as an appetizer and cut them and put on top. Yum! The chop salad was great and large enough to share. Small place and can get busy but deservedly so. Really... read more

My wife and I went here while we waited for our brewery tour at Fulton's, down the street. We can two different kinds of pizza which we both enjoyed. It's a little warm in the restaurant because the pizza oven is in the middle of the room but it's different and definitely worth a try!

The atmosphere and service are nice, but the pizza is really underwhelming. The pizza toppings were excessive. More attention needs to be paid to improving the crust. The salads were huge and delicious.

Simply outstanding pizza. The crust was excellent and the charring was perfect. I had the meatball and ricotta pizza. It was magnificent. I would highly recommend this place for great and unique pizza.

We love Black Sheep! Plain and simple. The (virtually emission-free) coal-fired crust is some of the best I have ever had (Including Lombardi's in NYC). The toppings are delicious (though would personally love some hot pepper options); we typically get the #3 (hot salami) or #10 (or the #10 with hot salami!). The service is fine, though considering just how... More

In my top 5 of Minneapolis eats. Pizza is delicious. Service quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Definitely the best thin crust pizza in the city!

We were in town for a national qualifier volleyball tournament and needed a quick late dinner. They delivered the pizzas to our hotel which was very convenient. The pizzas were excellent and would have been even better hot! The crust is so crispy and tasty! We had the cheese, Meatball/ricotta/garlic, cheese/garlic &I the fennel sausage pizzas and all were excellent.... More

The pizza is a great and very reasonable. The pizza has a very unique flavor being cooked over coal. The cheese and sauce that was used was delicious. They also has some delicious on tap rootbeer. The waitress made some great recommendations for us and helped us get the right amount for our family and we loved it.

Black Sheep is on many best pizza lists for good reasons. The thin style pizza is crisp and a perfect platform for great toppings. The fennel sausage is a standout. Local beer and root beer on tap too.

Ate at Black Sheep again tonight. UGH so good! We had the bread to start... delicious and a great price! Then, we had a pizza: half of the 11 and half of the 7. I really don't think you can go wrong here. Such a cute space too. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but they... More
