A bit of a wait on a Saturday night at 5:30 but it was worth it. The pizza (we ordered two 16") were yummy and so was the two salads. We shared among 5 people and it was more than plenty food. Very friendly staff and quick service. We were checked on often during our meal and we were happy... More

Awesome pizza, friendly staff and nice place to dine. My inlaws read about this place in some regional magazine and when they visited we had to try it. The first time was take out. They loved it. Now it is a ritual. Over the past couple years we have tried most of the pizzas. The crust is awesome. Parking can... More

We went here for a quick snack in the early afternoon. I was very pleased with the pizza selection, and the two that we shared were tasty, hot, and crispy. Pleasant casual atmosphere as well. I will be back for sure.

From the moment I called in, I knew this was the right place to order pizza. The guy who answered the phone was intelligent, had a sense of humor and knew the pizza. It arrived at our hotel in the exact amount of time quoted and it was hot. We are picky foodies and this made the cut! Do yourself... More

The pizza is good. It's rather upscale. Solid, tasty toppings, good crispy crust with flavorful char from the coal-fired ovens. That said, it's not mind-blowing, it's not so special that I would go out of my way to make a return trip. For people who love the more upscale pizza experience - this is for you.

This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants in Minneapolis along with Pizza Lola. Black Sheep has a distinct crust, differentiating it from other pizzas, and their signature oyster mushroom, rosemary and smoked mozzarella is not to be missed.

This is a pizza you could eat every day. Cracker thin crust with delicious topping choices. Dined with a gluten free, dairy free vegetarian and she was so was pleased with her pizza she ate the whole thing! Great spot for before/after Twins game. Been here a handful of times and service has always been spot on. It can get... More

The pizza was really good. The service great. My only complaint is, if you don't want pizza go somewhere else. That is all they serve and that is limited. I would come here again.

I'm still not understanding the attraction of coal fired pizza. This restaurant was busy the night we were here with a seemingly hip crowd. We enjoyed the salads and the crust of the pizza was very good. We just felt the toppings and sauce were nothing special. I'll stick with Savoy's.

On one of our many trips to Black Sheep, the server recommended the Sicilian. We liked it so much, that the next time we ordered a half to go and heated it up at home. Excellent taste. We will be getting the Sicilian again.
