We had a large group go to this restaurant when in town for a business meeting. We had reserved a private dining area and the waiter in charge of our service did a very nice job. The pizza was delicious and the drinks cold and plenty! We were under a bit of a time crunch because we wanted to go... More

Stopped here on a recent trip to St Paul because we like oven baked pizza. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable but the pizza was blah. They offer different toppings but the spices were lacking.....so was the cheese. The crust was well made but the flavors were missing.

The Yelpy tone of so many reviews of pizza places makes me crazy. There are a million of them, and to stand out, like Black Sheep does, takes a lot of work. Does it cost more than Pizza Hut, of course; does the atmosphere, quality of ingredients, service, topping options, and quality of the ingredients surpass 99% of the pizza... More

I love Black Sheep and can't say enough about them in a positive light! The service here is wonderful and the pizzas are out of this world. If you get the pre-designed pizzas you won't be disappointed, but there is always the option of picking your own toppings too. The coal fired oven produces the best bubbly chewy crust ever!... More

Stopped by just before closing to pick up a pizza to go. Friendly staff and great pizza. I had the cheese and sauce which was great. The crust was perfectly done. Love my new find!

I gave Black Sheep St. Paul an excellent rating because of the consistent good service and friendly staff PLUS what I believe is the best pizza around (still do not understand what's up with Punch - no comparison). We went to a Twins game and originally planned to stop at the St. Paul location on the way home, but decided... More

Dear JC Jake, I was so disheartened to read your review. Creating an environment where each guests feels comfortable and feels welcome is everything my husband and I have worked for over the past six years. I was particularly sad that I could see exactly how your experience could happen. Everything you describe seems like a possible outcome when one... More

We read about this restaurant on the Internet so we decided to go. We ordered the meatball pizza. It was good. We wanted to create our own pizza from the toppings they listed but each topping was pretty expensive. The pizza was pretty good. I asked for a small side of Marinara sauce and they charged me $2.00 for it.... More

We ordered three pizzas, the best of the bunch was the veggie/kalamata olive one. The meatball/ricotta one was pretty good, but I wasn't a fan of the chicken and pickled peppers. It was nice, fresh food and the dough was good, but there was a bit of a weird flavour to it. I think it may have been from the... More

We stopped here to eat before going to the Twins game. Very close to Target Field. The pizza was fantastic! Fresh mushrooms and onions, green olives and huge slices of pepperoni. Plenty of topping choices. Crust and sauce were good too. Waiter was very friendly and let me sample some of the beers before making my choices. Restaurant is a... More

I took my Culinary team here right before a baseball game. The chopped salads were large and the kids loved that we had about 6 pies on the table. The manager could see that we had a hungry group so he slipped us a Deep Dish on the house because of a kitchen mistake. Our meal was a great and... More
