We ordered three pizzas, the best of the bunch was the veggie/kalamata olive one. The meatball/ricotta one was pretty good, but I wasn't a fan of the chicken and pickled peppers. It was nice, fresh food and the dough was good, but there was a bit of a weird flavour to it. I think it may have been from the... More

We stopped here to eat before going to the Twins game. Very close to Target Field. The pizza was fantastic! Fresh mushrooms and onions, green olives and huge slices of pepperoni. Plenty of topping choices. Crust and sauce were good too. Waiter was very friendly and let me sample some of the beers before making my choices. Restaurant is a... More

I took my Culinary team here right before a baseball game. The chopped salads were large and the kids loved that we had about 6 pies on the table. The manager could see that we had a hungry group so he slipped us a Deep Dish on the house because of a kitchen mistake. Our meal was a great and... More

We love Black Sheep pizza. One of the best. Frequently a destination if we are downtown Mpls near dinner time. Service is excellent. Good choice of rotating tap beers. Pizza choices are good and delicious. Very thin crust with the coal fire taste. Parking can be difficult. Meters on the street are probably your best option. There are several restaurants... More

Don't get me wrong, the service is very good at this place but their pizza is just way overpriced and it's mediocre at best. If I were after a pizza I'd rather try Punch or Pizza Nea. They make much better and cheaper pizzas.

The best pizza I had on my 3 week vacation in Minnesota recently. We seen this place last year but-tried it this year---on three occasions! Yes 3 !!!! During our stay!!!!! The market salads are wonderful and just the perfect size for 2-3 to split and then the wonderful thin crust coal fired pizza arrives and it is absolutely the... More

Wow, some of the best pizza I ever had. The toppings were plentiful and their crust is thin and tasty. They have lots of creative pizza choices and the 3 we chose were great! Highly recommended!!

Enjoyed an early dinner here - no wait, great service. The farmer's market salad was delicious - roasted corn, romaine, feta, cherry tomatoes, jalepeno, cilantro, lime juice, etc. great!! We also had the roasted vegetable appetizer. Also a great choice -- mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, onion and goat cheese. All roasted perfectly. Then, the pizza. We had a cheese and... More

Went here for a birthday party a bit ago. We originally started with a party of about 8, which they were nice enough to seat before we'd all arrived (against policy apparently). Throughout the evening we added on 5 more people and the wait staff was very accommodating, finding chairs and helping the new people with refreshments and drinks. Our... More

True coal fired pizza - not a huge menu but everything I've tried has been excellent. Their meatball, garlic, and ricotta pizza competes with their fennel sausage, green olive, and hot salami pizza for my love but you can't beat their chopped salad! Have visited many times and never been disappointed.
