Barrio was such a pleasant surprise! We weren't sure what we wanted and it was early- so we stopped in Barrio to check out their happy hour deals. The happy hour appetizers and margaritas were so delicious that we stayed for dinner. The presentation of the food was gorgeous and each dish had unique flavor and was so good! The... More

This Mexican restaurant is absolutely the finest Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis. I come in the city once every 3 month and all the time I get in touch in this restaurant. I love it.

Enjoyed Barrio's. Many uniques food items on menu. Small plate items are perfect. Our tacos were great and we enjoyed the chips and guacamole too. A little spendy but everything we ordered was good. Nice atmosphere and it was quiet on Monday night. Will go there again.

We went here to celebrate my daughter's 24th bday. We ordered several tapas and guacamole to share. Presentation was great. Also had blood orange margs... tasty! Good service. Food took a bit long but I like to think it's because it was made from scratch. A nice place to visit with family/friends.

Tapas style menu. The chicken skewers were recommended by the waitress, but came out undercooked. The pork belly taco was real good, I could have eaten a dozen of those. It was a bit loud and difficult to converse. The beers are mostly micro brews, but they had a decent variety.

I have now been here on two separate accounts and have enjoyed it thoroughly both times. Food and drinks are great!Great flavors, portions, and presentation. It is worth it to go and eat there for their wonderful food alone! Service can take a little time depending on how busy they are. We were seated quickly regardless of being busy. They... More

This was a great tapas/appetizer dining experience. The queso is the best we've had. VERY highly recommended. Aside from one rude staff member, (commented likewise by the tables around us), the place is a must stop. Great drinks and a good time in a happening location. If Darwin is correct, the rude staff member is probably out of a job... More

After a couple of days of airport and poor hotel food this place was a wonderful change. The food was fresh, tasty and light. Good service and an extensive drinks menu (lots of tequila).

If you get to Terminal 2 at MSP, you have to try this place. I had Quinoa salad, and guacamole and chips, as was recommended by a friend, and both were amazing. The staff is very friendly, not what you typically find in an airport restaurant. The prices were decent considering you were in the airport. The food was amazing...I'm... More

Snagged a seat at the bar for a quick lunch. My salad with chicken was yummy and my friend's lunch special arrived in record time. While I was on a business lunch and couldn't imbibe, the other folks dining at the bar had drinks that looked tempting. I would have liked to return to try one.
