This was a great tapas/appetizer dining experience. The queso is the best we've had. VERY highly recommended. Aside from one rude staff member, (commented likewise by the tables around us), the place is a must stop. Great drinks and a good time in a happening location. If Darwin is correct, the rude staff member is probably out of a job... More

After a couple of days of airport and poor hotel food this place was a wonderful change. The food was fresh, tasty and light. Good service and an extensive drinks menu (lots of tequila).

If you get to Terminal 2 at MSP, you have to try this place. I had Quinoa salad, and guacamole and chips, as was recommended by a friend, and both were amazing. The staff is very friendly, not what you typically find in an airport restaurant. The prices were decent considering you were in the airport. The food was amazing...I'm... More

Snagged a seat at the bar for a quick lunch. My salad with chicken was yummy and my friend's lunch special arrived in record time. While I was on a business lunch and couldn't imbibe, the other folks dining at the bar had drinks that looked tempting. I would have liked to return to try one.

Business gathering there last night...so heavy on the aps and drinks. Incredible array of tequilas, their red sangria was awesome, guacamole rocked...the chicken chimi churri skewers were top notch. Great atmosphere drinks and food...not a huge selection on the menu but many different small options including tacos and skewers. Definitely will visit again!!!

Food is very good and quite an eclectic range of choices. They offer a very nice Tequila (Azul), bartenders are friendly, and atmosphere is casual and relaxed even during weekdays. Will definitely return.

Located in downtown Minneapolis this bar / restaurant offered a tapas style take on mexican / latin food. Upon arrival a few people were at the bar, but no one was eating in the restaurant - and since it was 7pm perhaps this was the omen we should have heeded. Deep fried empanadas were awful. The enchilada al pastor used... More

Was impressed with beer and tequila selection (it is a tequila bar) and the quality of the food. Had the pork tacos which were unbelievable. Service was excellent as well.

I've been to barrio a few times, but only during happy hour. The chips and guacamole/salsa are definitely worth a try (and you can get more chips for an extra $1!). The tacos are also quite tasty - the pork and chicken are my favorites. Of course, no Mexican restaurant would be complete without good margaritas... Luckily, Barrio has it... More

We found Barrio on our way to the theater. We did no have reservations, so were concerned. But we were seated almost immediately, even though the place was packed. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. We liked their concept of ordering things throughout the meal as you go, trying this and that. Since we were... More
