Best bakery in town

By far best bakery in town. The doughnuts are second to none. Pastries are unreal. Highly recommend this place for anyone wants quality bakery items.

I am a raised donut only person typically, but their donuts that are somewhere in between raised and cake are out of this world. If you are someone who only likes one kind of donut and can't step outside your grocery store donut box, don't bother. This place is for people who like their baked goods done well and don't... Fantastic selection and good prices. It's a tiny place so be prepared to wait. I had an Almond, cake filled pastry. I have to say it's one of the best pastries I've ever had. We also tried a caramel cake which was good but a bit too sweet for me. The breads and rolls looked delicious. I don't know if... More

This place is tiny, but the bakery case was jam-packed with delicious options, so many that we'd already paid by the time I realized how many there were. And if you're tired of paying $5 for one cupcake, come to A Baker's Wife and you'll get a much better value for your dollar.

This place is a gem in minneapolis. The best bakery hands down. A small, quaint neighborhood bakery with fresh, homemade treats. I had to force myself to stop going there, as I was getting fat. My favorites are the rice crispy bars-very marshmallowy and chewy, the ham and cheese croissant, the teacakes, and the donuts.

Such a variety of tasty little treats! Husband and I are Sat. morning regulars. Love the blueberry turnovers and carrot cake muffins. Must have treats with a cup of weekend coffee.

Stopped by for some pastries, was not disappointed! I have no idea what I got, I asked them what was popular and got a sticky sweet carmel pastry thing that was huge and positively delicious. Also got a few ham and cheese croissants, with the ham and cheese baked in...to die for! Highly recommend!

We LOVE this bakery where the focus is on the delicious pastries and not on some upscale 'shi-shi' atmosphere like many 'bakeries' we've stopped into (and then turned around and left). Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh (it was all I could do to stop myself from grabbing my daughter's cake donut out of her hand and eating it myself!), and... More

The cinnamon cake doughnuts are to die for. Just make sure to bring cash or check; no credit cards are taken here. And there is always a line so know what you want before you get to the front of the line!

I am not much of a cake donut person, but theirs is amazing. All their pastries are fresh, delish and cheap! I live in the neighborhood and it's kind of a problem :)
