Tried it for the first time

We were looking for a place we had not been to before and settled on The Claddagh. It was a nice day, so we dined on the patio. Nice beer selection, and we had some bangers as an appetizer. They were good. For dinner, two of us had the Monte Christo and one preferred fish and chips. Our food... read more

There was a wedding and bridal shower going on in the bar and restaurant during our visit. We stopped in for some drinks and apps to bide us over until supper. Food was great. Scottish eggs....mmmmmm. Spinach dip, wings, nachos. All excellent. If you love margaritas, go somewhere else. Service was slow, but I imagine the big groups were the... More

Nice atmosphere, but getting a little worn. Love the fish and chips. Good portions but they seem to be smaller than they use to be. Great taste and quality. The batter had good flavor and the fish was light and flakey.

With St. Patrick's day approaching, we were hungry for some Irish food. We had not been to Claddagh for years and after we ate there we remembered why. The corned beef and cabbage was awful. The meat was gray and required a chain saw to cut it. After a couple of bites it got shoved to the side. The red... More

A very unique place to dine and to my understanding only one Claddagh restaurant per state is allowed. So if you love bread pudding, this is the place. One serving can serve four...but I never share mine! ;-) The atmosphere is cozy and very pub like. The service is hit or miss but a must on Saint Patrick's Day. Corn... More

This is a great restaurant with excellent service. My sister contacted the place in advance to see if my parents could eat there with their garlic allergy. She found out that the chef was more than willing to accommodate many types of food sensitivities. When we arrived on Thanksgiving, we had a wonderful table in a medieval looking room. My... More

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and you feel like you're in a real Irish pub. The only trouble was that I didn't care for the food. It wasn't that it was prepared wrong or that it was not hot enough, I guess didn't like the Irish dish. Maybe, I'm not crazy for Irish food. My husband said it... More

My girlfirend booked the party room here for a going away party mostly because it had no minimum and was available on the Saturday night we needed. This is a rare find, but we wanted to give it a try. We had looked several other places, but did not want to deal with >$1000 minimums. I would say the room... More

Service was good and the server was entertaining -- I really like that about this place. Food was good with the exception of my husband's meal, the Irish Beef Stew. Oddly enough there were ingredients missing that are listed on the menu. Wish he would have said something at the time rather than eat something he didn't like, but what... More

I gave The Claddagh a try after seeing an advertisement for Monday fish and chips - buy one get one free with 2 drink purchase. Service was great. It wasn't real busy around 6pm. Fish was very good. Chips were ok. Had the pretzel and beer cheese dip for an app- that was very good. Will be back for fish... More
