Terrific food - try the lobster bisque! Lovely ambiance. The tableside guac was delicious. Right downtown next to the Verizon center. Plan ahead as you'll need reservations on special days. The polenta fries were amazing!

Number 4 is one of the best places to eat in Mankato for dinner. The menu has a very good selection ranging from delicious sandwiches and salads to more trendy dinner choices. You can get guacamole made right at your table, or try the famous Bloody Mary served on Sundays with a free breakfast. This place has the best atmosphere... More

Number 4 has a great atmosphere, especially some of the cozy curtained booths. Thee food is really good - try the burgers, the chips with homemade dips, and the big 4 breakfast on the weekends. The service is usually pretty good, though there may be occasions in which it is not top notch. It is a bit pricey, but overall... More

We visit Number 4 often and have always had a great meal. They change the menu up and keep it fresh. We usually have a martini or 2 and they know how to mix a drink!

Great stop for dinner. Excellent beer selection. Great staff. Black and Bleu steak was excellent, polenta fries were terrific.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and never been disappointed. Great light lunch menu. Upscale atmosphere for dinner. It can get busy on weekends, they do take reservations. Try the Creme Brule sampler, four flavors that change with the seasons.

I met a friend and her granddaughter at this restaurant in Mankato, MN. Best food ever. We started with two of the small plates, D.L. Hotsy Totsy, homemade buffalo tater tots with delicious dipping sauce and Asparagus Fries, beer battered asparagus served with garlic Dijon aioli. Both were super good. My main course was the coconut chicken salad and it... More

Pleasant hostess. Sat outside and ordered drinks and asparagus appetizer. Arrived quickly and was presented well, and tasted great. My wife ordered a spicy dish that she said was excellent (several times). I had the stuffed 'p chop', also very good. Overall, first rate. Slightly off topic here, but I was a little confused why anyone would choose to sit... More

We visited on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at noon. There is outdoor seating available but we chose to sit inside due to the humid weather. There were four people seated outside and eight people inside, so it was nearly empty during the noon hour. We were seated immediately. Our server arrived promptly. We were served our drinks, an iced tea... More

Our hotel suggested Number 4 for a elegant meal with great food. Spot on. After being seated our server Nikki ( ask for her ) gave us a passionate and accurate description and lay out of the menu. We shared the grilled asparagus prepared and presented perfectly. I had the pork chops stuffed with cream chees and jalapenos. Was balanced... More
