Very pleasant, outstanding hospitality, interesting food

You can eat conservatively while expanding your range a little or you can just tell them to surprise you. You'll get a good meal at a fair price, either way.

We have been here many times over the last several years and it is always predictable good. The flavors of everything we have sampled are excellent as many of the dishes are family recipes from Brazil. Just a great restaurant to visit!

Found this fantastic restaurant because of Trip Adviser and decided to check it out for our annual NYE dinner. We were immediately greeted by the owner and his son who delivered fantastic service all night. Our group loved the Paella Completa, Picanha, and Churrasco. We also loved the flan for desert. Checkout the Brazilian Dark beer and the sweet Sangria.... More

Samba has a selection of good Brazilian favorites. This is not one of those meat-fest places. You order off of a menu. I've been to Brazil several times. Samba's food is the closest I've had to what you really eat in Brazil.

Started backwards by selecting the desserts. Then a local Brazilian dish. We had different types of moqueca (shrimp and vegetables). It's for American tastes, but the coconut cream was very smooth and light....soak the rice in it. We tried different desserts, but the owner suggested the most popular.....toffee pudding cake topped with caramelized milk. Aaaaaaaah! Never mind the calories.

My friend is from Brazil and has taught me to like the cuisine. I have always had a great experience here. The food is great, service is attentive and I can pick up groceries that allow me to duplicate some of the dishes I have learned at home.

After we sat down with my elderly mother and had ordered our dinner my husband got up to use the restroom. He was stopped as he was about to go in and was told, "These restrooms are for paying customers only." He was the only person of color in the restaurant - and now we know why. We will not... More

My daughter, son-in-law and I were antique shopping in Hopkins. After an afternoon of shopping we worked up a bit of an appetite but it was such a beautiful afternoon, we were in the mood for something new. We are so glad we chose Samba! The food was authentically delicious. The service was wonderful. So warm and friendly. They were... More

Good brazilian food by Paulistanos.... A nice change of pace from the overhyped (and over priced) rodizio style of other brazilian places. Just good brazilian food - lots of meat of course. This place is on main street hopkins and isn't anything fancy, almost a coffee shop feel.... It may be a little too casual for some, especially if you... More

Place was empty when I went there, but had a good experience nonetheless. Having brazilian food away from home is always good, and they were right on target. It seemed a little expensive compared to other brand restaurants, but overall worth trying.
