It's a great little spot for a nice adult dinner. Not really little kids friendly-suggest 8 and older. Good food and service.

The server offered us the restaurant's own ice cream for dessert - Delish! Two of us had the potato sausage soup & 1/2 BLT. Both said it was very good. I had the Reuben which was good and served with excellent chips. Our 4th had the French dip sandwich which was o.k. There is an amusing elevated train that is... More

The Onion Grille is rated as the best restaurant in Hastings for a reason. My wife and I had a midweek lunch and it was terrific. Down by the river and next to the new bridge gives it a great location. Before or after your meal, enjoy the river view. My wife had the Portabella Fella which she loved. I... More

We stopped by for lunch on the way home, and stopped based on reviews. We were not disappointed as both our meals were wonderful. The service was great, and the streets were full of cars for a oldie car show that Hastings has on Saturday night during the summer. I don't know exactly what Saturdays but it was fun to... More

Enjoyed a nice, late Thursday lunch with no crowds. Located almost to the river, you can see the bridge easily before walking into the restaurant. Unique interior - looks like a warehouse with big pipes & signs hanging down and dark ceilings but a model train traveling overhead near the ceiling. Nice colorful place settings for each of us. We went here for lunch based on other reviews and they weren't lying! So good. My husband got the onion burger (which has onion rings and grilled onions on it). He loved it! I got a bacon burger which hit the spot. Prices are reasonable and the service was great.

Stopped by for a quick lunch after a morning hike. Sat outside because we had the dog along. Note: There are a couple of hooks in the brick that would be great to tie your pups leash. We ordered sandwiches and wraps. Food was good - nothing I will dream about, but fine. The reason we would go back would... More
