Regardless of what you may think of the atmosphere (which we found pleasant), we had an outstanding meal today. We ate the Parrillado Mexicana for two: it could have fed three or four. The shrimp, pork, beef, chorizo dish with roasted vegetables was excellent. Be careful with the pico de gallo and salsa, as they both contain jalapeños. But, oh... More

The place may seem like a dive and it kind of is, but the food was served hot and was very tasty! When we go out we seem to get used to warm food rather than HOT off the stove. It was nice to get our food hot, fresh AND TASTY! For the price I was impressed.

Extremely slow service!!! Our party of 3 arrived at 6:15PM and were finally leaving around 7:55PM. Chips and salsa were pretty quick and drinks were just a little slow. However refills were a miss. Upon receiving our drinks, we needed just a minute longer to make an order as only two of us were ready. Roughly 10-15 minutes later, our... More

First the ugly and bad, a little more tact for the atmosphere. Beside the bad paint job, you'll know it when you see it and the first thing to greet you at the front door is someone's closed account bad check taped eye on the glass, ugly. But past that is good food and some nice folks to deliver it.... More

Husband's mixed dish fine, but nachos supreme terrible. Didn't eat beyond one bite, but server very nice and comped the dish. Still, no lunch.

In the "up north" region of MN I did not expect well-spiced dishes. The salsa had a nice kick and the guacamole was heavy on fresh cilantro - even my kids gobbled it up! We tried the grilled chicken, chimis, and burritos - all delicious! If I'm ever in Grand Rapids again, this is where I will eat.

First impression was dirty bathrooms which sort of set the tone for the atmosphere. No music, no sound on the TV's. Our waiter was very attentive but difficult to understand. The chips and salsa were fabulous. Our food was served quickly and was fantastic. We would eat here again if we wanted Mexican while in Grand Rapids.

We went here for a friends birthday dinner. They were very accommodating to special dietary needs - vegan. The food is always good and the service too!

We eat here a few times every summer and really enjoy our time. The food is equal to many mexican restaurants in the Twin Cities. The ambiance is average the service is good and the food good, fast and filling--all the chips and salsa you want too. Give it a try..

The reviews from trip advisor brought me to this restaurant and didn't let me down. The steak burrito was seasoned well and came with fried onions topped with cheese and served with rice and beans. The taste was really good. chips and salsa before the meal great service and priced at 9.99. Will be back!
