very nice dining

food was good, service was good, portions were slightly larger than need be, but made for a late snack. No complaints. Price was moderate to high, but typical for a hotel of this quality

Outstanding lunch, and dinner meals. Great food, and very well managed. Our lunch waitress, Amy, was truly outstanding, prompt, and very professional The evening staff is also very courteous! This is certainly one of the bettor places that we've utilized in a very long time.

As a local, I've eaten here several times. The food is good, service fine. I prefer the lunch menu to the dinner menu.

We found this restaurant at the hotel in which we were staying - not the likeliest place to find a restaurant of this quality! We now vacation up here every year, and even though we have a cabin & won't be staying in the hotel, we will (and have been) back for a meal. The chef seems to be quite... More

We met with family and had drinks from the bar, though we were sitting in the dining room. The drinks were very good. I had a Mai Tai and a Green Grasshopper and my partner had Heineken beer. The staff was very friendly. The second drink she brought was another mai tai when I wanted the green grasshopper, so she... More

The price is a little high for this area, but the food and service were great! I ordered sushi - this is the only place in Grand Rapids that has it to the best of my knowledge! It was very fresh tasting and spicy. My husband ordered steak medium rare - it came almost well - done.. however the wait... More

I went to 17th Grill for a birthday lunch and everything was fantastic. Our waitress was Leah. I would highly recommend you ask for her section when you visit this establishment. She was very attentive and polite. She even had a party of 20+ people in a side room but she still made sure we were taken care of. The... More

I ordered the eggplant and Portabella mushroom sandwich, and it was wonderful. My waiter whose name was Ross, was very attentive and helpful. I mentioned that I had a shellfish allergy and he said he would make sure the chefs knew this so as not to cross contaminate any knives or utensils. I often times forget about this so I'm... More
