Everyone that we dealt with at this restaurant was super friendly. The fresh bread that you get when you sit down was delicious. I had the baked potato soup...surprisingly good. We were looking for a decent place to eat that was close to our hotel, and this place fit the bill perfectly. Would definitely go back.

I have been looking for a good Monte Cristo sandwich for some time, and a friend recommended the Monte Quackster at Norman Quacks. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and found the entire experience to be enjoyable. We ordered the "Mini-Teaser" appetizer and it actually filled us up so much I could not finish the Monte Quackster. , They... More

The place is way cool when you walk in. A very neat atmosphere! There were 5 tables including mine. Two people waiting on tables. Our waiter, a bigger guy late 30's, hardly said a word. Ordered the lunch special, the trio!! Swordfish, ahi tuna and shrimp. Everything was hot. Both fish were way over cooked and the three little pieces... More

Everything that I have had on the menu has been excellent. If you love beer, this is the place to try something new. They have an extensive beer menu as well as full bar service. The entire atmosphere is fun and friendly.

Just off the freeway and the food is quite good. The atmosphere is comfortable and it is a good place to meet people or stop for a nice dinner

Awesome menu, kitschy Northwoods atmosphere, best beer selection around! Fresh seafood, awesome steaks, interesting burgers and sandwiches. Soups are fresh and fantastic. Of note, once in your lifetime, you need to try the Monte Quackster; triple decker sandwich with ham, turkey, cheese, breaded, deep fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with fruit preserves. Unbelievably yummy and unhealthy as all... More

We stopped in here not knowing what to expect. It was great. Very friendly owner and fine food. The waitress was exceptional, and the service great. My brother got a free desert. What more can you ask for. We will be back.

We had a group of four adults on Saturday evening, about 5:30pm ,who ordered a 'buffalo sandwich' and the 'garlic trout' (fish special). The sandwich was very good, the chicken moist, and the portion was large - not too spicey. The 'garlic trout' was also prepared properly - not overcooked. The portion size was somewhat small for a large eater.... More

I think the best item on their menu is the pork chops. They are huge and prepared with care. The beer selection is great featuring a fairly large variety of beers from smaller breweries.

I always enjoy getting sent to town to run errands because it gives me a chance to stop by Quack's and see what they've got on top and grab an appetizer or a sandwich. They are constantly changing their beer selection and have great specials going on all of the time.
