Breakfast at The Moose is a real northwoods treat!

Whether it's wild rice pancakes, omelettes and/or coffee, breakfast in the log cabin Moose is a fabulous place to gather.

The folks at the CM made a real impression on us 2 years ago when we stopped with our kids for lunch, and once again they did a great job. The food tasted great, even if my potatoes were a bit overdone, and the staff was great about answering questions and seeing to our needs. Yes, it was a bit... More

The Chocolate Moose is an Ely favorite--friendly staff, good people watching, and decent food. They have a good selection of GF foods as well, although their amazing desserts are not! :)

Great as usual! One of our favorite restaurants in Ely. Always a great meal and friendly staff! Yum yum burger and meatloaf tonight.

Very good meal. I had pork loin and wife had walleye. Both were excellent. Service was timely and friendly, very good. Definitely worth the price. Would love to come back.

We have eaten at the Chocolate Moose for years and have never had anything but 5 star food. A very different menu than anywhere in the north country, yet comfort food abounds and family friendly service and atmosphere prevails. It is the only place I have NEVER gotten fishy walleye, wilted salad or food that needed to go back to... More

We came in for a pre-backcountry adventure feast and were not disappointed by the dinner we had here. Beer selection was nice, and our hot open-faced sandwiches were huge and delicious! We'll be in next time we paddle the Boundary Waters for sure.

Great restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner. Handmade items like quiche and the brownies are amazing. Good service and atmosphere. They seem to have a nice selection of beer and wine also.
