When I lived in Ely, Britton's was a favorite restaurant. Very good home cooking. It still has the same Mom & Pop atmosphere, but the food is not quite as good as it was. I'd recommend it though. The specials are still real food. I had the hot turkey sandwich and it was actually real turkey and not lunch meat.

A great local establishment with small town charm. Loved their veggie stuffed hashbrows. Their breakfast #9 is also very good (biscuits and gravy/eggs/meat). Their donuts are really good too. They were out of pie when we were there.

If you're hungry and looking for a classic American breakfast, Britton's is the place to go in Ely. It may be busy on weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait. HUGE portions and friendly service have made it our favorite place for breakfast in Ely. They don't accept plastic, but an ATM is across the street.

Breakfast platters are enough to feed more than one and are the absolute tastiest! The coffee was fabulous too!

This is a classic café/dinner. It was packed with locals and tourists alike. We hit on a Saturday morning and waited about 20 minutes. Service was friendly, food was good and the coffee excellent.

The place was packed with the early morning regulars, tourists, and the like. The breakfast is what you'd expect from a small town cafe. Service was great and the value was unmatched. Good spot for a meal in Ely.

When I ordered the "Stuffed Hash Browns", I got a little more than I bargained for. Have an appetite if you order this. It's a couple eggs atop hash browns which are filled with a ham and cheese mixture and it's very good and very large. The coffee could have been a bit stronger. Bring cash, as I understand they... OK, it is a tiny lunch counter. It is open at 5AM. The prices are reasonable. The American fries were good. The eggs were cooked right. The homemade wheat braed and homemade cinnamon raisin bread were WORLD CLASS. The coffee is strong enough. Place was busy at 6AM. Construction worker/road crew at the table next to us. Lots of older... More
