Decent option - best calzones at its level

We went here last night for a group gathering. They were kind enough to give us a private room on short notice. The food is inexpensive, the wait was a bit long. I got a calzone which is better than Green Mill or other pizza joints of similar price.

Every so often I have to have one of their deep dish pizzas. Total indulgence. They deliver, but we live nearby so I always order by phone and then pick it up myself. They also let groups use the side room, which I think is great - a community service. Attendees can order food and/or beverages, but they don't have... More

Good selection of sandwiches. The best one I've had so far is the meatball sub. Also recommended are the calzones that are filled with fresh ingredients.

We were a large group and dined in the private area. This was the best pizza I've had in a long time. The front counter service was quite friendly.

Davanni's has always had some of the best pizza in the Twin Cities and that is still true. The sauce that they use is far superior to a dominos or pizza hut sauce. Davanni's really shines when it comes to there hoagies. There is just no one that can consistantly make such great sandwhiches. You will be happy everytime you... More

This is one of the most kid friendly restaurants I've been to with my five year old and husband. The kids menu is a bit limited but the kids don't care. The coke machine is straight out of StarTrek- you can pick your own flavors and make a coke that's all your own. They really cater to kids. Oh and... More

They are very close to our house and we like their "pick three". No tap beer or wine, so great place for the kids and plastic glassware and wood benches. Great for carryout and I see their delivery car out all of the time

Davanni's has been around a long time, and there's a reason for that. They make great pizzas and hoagies. This is not Dominos ! Get a real pizza, go to Davanni's.

I really don't like how they make their pizza, it's gross.
