Comfortable setting; Comfort Food

Met friends here for lunch and enjoyed delicious sandwiches and soup. Sandwhich fillings were generous in portion, and the soups were perfect on a cold day in January. Our server was excellent: not pushy at all, but came by to check on us from time to time. The Edina Grill is a comfortable place... read more

Had breakfast hear with friend and it was amazing. I had eggs benedict which was lovely, not huge and just the right amount of hollandaise. The hashbrowns were crispy and done perfectly. The item that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did was the pancake; buckwheat & quinoa, oh my goodness, I have been craving it since... More

I feel like each Blue Plate restaurant has it's own twist but they all are nice, have a similar look, menu and feel. The Edina Grill is not too much different. The bar is about as large as the dining room. I enjoyed a couple drinks with a friend, watched an older man fall off his stool and called it... More

The Edina Grill has a down home comfort that keeps you coming back. Breakfast is to die for, large portions and interesting options. I love the breakfast burrito, but the Crosstown is a great choice as well. Lunch and dinner are fantastic as well and the bar is well stocked with a great variety of local and micro brews. You... We had reservations for a group of 13 & something got mixed up complicating our seating. They got it worked out and gave the adults a complementary glass of champagne while we waited. Interesting menu and good food & beer selection. Mac & cheese with ham & tomatoes was good but not as creamy as I'd anticipated. Others enjoyed their... More

A busy place filled with many families with young children. Nothing romantic about this eatery but basic good food and great service.

The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. They also have a great kids menu and are very accommodating. We went on a Sunday so there was s little wait but so worth it!!

This place has the look and feel of an old-time diner, but better. Unique and pleasant atmosphere. Decent tap beer selection. The menu was extensive and has something for everyone. Breakfast is served all day. We were promptly seated at 1:30 pm on a Thursday. Our server, Ian, was friendly and informed us of the various menu choices. I had... More

Perfect strong coffee. Great service. I had the eggs Benedict with hollandaise on the side. Delicious! My husband had the chilaquiles and said it was the best thing he had ever eaten. Strong praise. I tasted them and they were delicious. Nice spice, such a rich and deep flavor. Highly recommend.

It's a coll restaurant, nice atmosphere. The menu is creative. The service is not good. The young lady that waited on us was very nice but very unattentive. We started with pork drummettes. They were very good. I then had the steak and perogies and they were great.
