I've been to Beaujo's several times in the past year, sometimes alone and sometimes with my husband and the food and wine have always been very good. However yesterday when my husband and I stopped by for lunch everything just clicked and I saw how really delightful Beaujo's is. We had a marvelous time. The two tables by the window... More

Stopped by Beaujo's after a walk around Lake Harriet with a dear friend. We came here exclusively because we had a Living Social voucher and had always wanted to try it. Street parking was easy to find at 9:00 at night, but that may not always be the case. Enjoyed 2 glasses of a nice merlot and a very nice... More

I see a lot of other reviewers here have rated the place poorly. Truth is the menu looks limited but each item is more than it reads. The walleye for example comes with a lime-ginger sauce that I always have to order extra of because it's amazing. The ham and cheese sandwich sounds boring but the it's superb, especially in... More

neat atmosphere, but wine list and meny lacked anything even remotely interesting. I conceed we did not eat there, so can't judge the food - but again - didn't see anything tempting. service wasn't that attentive, though pleasant when she did come around. won't return - sorry.

I don't understand how this restaurant has been successful for so long. I thought the menu was extremely limited; they actually offered only a single entrée (the rest were small plates, salads, and sandwiches). The menu online is quite different. We ordered the mushroom pate' which was completely tasteless and the Banh Mi sandwich which was fine (but can be... More

How can people rate a place like this at the same level as a (insert groan) chain restaurant? Two neighborhood women started this wine bar and it's a warm, quiet, urban atmosphere - a good place for a heart-to-heart or a planned-or-unplanned declaration of love. I went twice - first with a date (no declarations of love, but he looked... More

This is a small restaurant we went to for lunch. The food and service is very good. I had the walleye plate and it was great. It was nice and quiet for lunch but have been told it's a busy place at dinner time. This was the second time I had been there for lunch while I was in the... More

Great place to stop before or after a movie or anytime for that matter. Love the walleye sandwich. The steak salad is nice too. Nice selection of wines and they're available in half glasses, glasses, flights and bottles. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. It's my #1 choice in the area. 50th and France is quite the restaurant hub.

We just stopped in for a glass of wine and dessert. It was perfect. It is small and quiet. I would have liked a few more dessert choices, but what they did have was good.

Just one comment: Moraccan chicken. OK OK, also the mussels in coconut milk w/kaffir lime leaf. Good wine and oft-quirky waitstaff. If the restaurant didn't have a French name, I'd have to add gemütlich. Before or after, don't miss the Edina Theater--just about anything playing there is super.
