Description: There’s really only one place for authentic Chinese and Thai–and that’s Big Bowl. It all begins with the highest quality ingredients–naturally raised chicken and beef, heirloom pork, sustainable seafood and produce grown locally. Because Big Bowl believes that the best food is made from scratch, you can taste big, bold layers of flavors in every dish, from the curries right down to the dipping sauces. Everyone raves about the pad Thai, our spicy dishes that are truly hot, and our create-your-own stir-fry–and for good reason. Every element adds up to big taste and takes our food to another level, be it a fresh squeeze of lime, fragrant herbs or the seared Thai chilies. Big Bowl is so big on authentic flavors that even the ginger ale is made with fresh ginger root–from scratch, of course.

We had an excellent meal last night and are returning today, the menu was varied with a wide choice of dishes we had the Pad Thai which was very tasty other dishes that past us looked equally appetising . Good value.

One of the least satisfying meals I've had in a restaurant in quite a while. We arrived for our 645 reservation on a Friday and only had to wait a couple of minutes for our table. Almost as soon as we were seated our very eager waiter was standing over us wanting our drink order. Feeling pressured we ordered a... More

This place does not live up to the Edina aura. The quality of the food was poor as was the service. How on earth does this place survive? Maybe due to very weak competition in the galleria. We will not be back.

almost no tofu in my build your own stir fry where you choose a protein (steak or chicken or shrimp or tofu). when i complain they bring me a tiny bowl of additional tofu and charge me for it!! i decline the rice and noodles because of a low carb diet and they take nothing off the bill. I wind... More

Typical American joint that thinks it's making delicious asian food. I've been to my share of American restaurants that make good asian dishes. This isn't one of those places. The prices are way high, food is way sour and extremely salty. If I hadn't asked for a bowl of rice with my shrimp chow fun I'd been chewing salt noodles... More

This is one of my favorite neighborhood places. The food is always excellent. I almost always have the same thing: Make-Your -Own -Stir-Fry with the crispy chicken, with Kung-Pao sauce and extra peanuts. The New Belgium Fat Tire Ale they have on tap goes great with spicy Thai stir fry.

We have always had fresh and tasty food here. They have a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian and spicy dishes. Their ginger ale is a specialty of the place. What is also nice is that you can create your own stir fry which is nice if you really like vegetables. The booths are quiet and comfortable. During lunch and... More

Definitely not a typical Thai place, the menu was varied and our server was very patient to explain it to us and make suggestions. Food had strong flavors, very fresh and tasty, just not OUR taste.

My favorite dish at the Big Bowl is the stir-fry bar. Choose your protein. Today it was Tofu for me and all natural chicken for husband. Choose your sauce. Today it was Panang red curry for me and Thai coconut yellow curry for husband. You have your choice of noodles or rice and then you fill you bowl with vegetables.... More
