I work very close to hear. Jake's is always a solid place for lunch. Good menu - lots of things to choose from, pretty reasonably priced, they get you in and out.

"I need somewhere to hang my head" after mine and my wife's latest trip Jake's City Grill which was one of our favorites, but I think someone got the best of Jake's and changed some things and it wasn't for the better. Not sure if they swapped out their executive chef for one that isn't the greatest, but they definitely... More

I'm not sure if this is a chain, but it seems almost like a mix of Bennigan's and a Wood Fire Grill. Prices were high (cheapest red was about $10 per glass) and the burgers were expensive for what you received. The burger I ordered was good, but not $14 good. I did see a sandwich come out for a... I ate enough shrimp to cover costs. The rest was just average at best. Your basic eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast. Cinamon rolls ok, others left a bit to be desired. For $16.95, got what i paid for.

They are right next to BWW, but "JakeWings" puts them to shame. Another reviewer did not like the "overly sour" sauce on one of his meals. All I can say is he must have a Scandinavian (bland) palette. That garlic sauce has been a Lebanese family secret for decades (the owner's parents owned the legendary 101 restaurant for decades). After... More

Ate here twice during a week stay and the food and service were very good both times. I sat at the bar since I was dining alone and the staff were very prompt despite it being crowded. The French dip/roast beef sandwich was tasty with a good amount of roast beef. The pecan crusted walleye was good too although I'd... More

Just ate here ted our server was very nice.my husband loved his black angus burger. I ordered the southwestern fajita and was not impressed at all. It was bathed with some type of thangy sauce that was overbearingly sour. Both of us odered water paid $35 for everything. Not bad but for me it was not worth the $$.

We go here primarily because my husband really, really likes their shrimp and sausage soup. The parking lot is always full and at prime time there's always a wait. Bit of a mystery to me, because the food is pretty standard fare in my opinion; nothing you couldn't get at an Applebees, Houlihan's or other similar places. The service, though,... More

I've been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed with their drinks & desserts. Great place to meet up with freinds or a happy hour.

Took my mom and a friend to Jakes and sat out on their awesome patio. I had a Pina Colada, and Spinach artichoke chip for starters. Very good! I ordered Chicken nachos for my entree. they were good. I then ordered Chocolate Cake for dessert. It was awesome. My bill for all of that was under $30.
