He Jensen family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. In 1947 Doron Jensen's grandfather Al and his brother Pete Jensen founded Jensen's Cafe in Fremont, Nebraska. Doron started his restaurant career working for his grandfather at the cafe. When Al died in 1979 Doron wanted to takeover Jensen's Cafe but he was too young at the time. Doron worked in the chain-restaurant business for many years, including founding a local steak house chain. He eventually grew tired of chains and wanted to start a "Local Landmark Restaurant" dedicated to his grandparents. In 1996, Jensen's Supper Club was born. Jensen's Supper Club was created with the mission that Supper Clubs belonged to the community. The 40's and 50's were the glory eras for Supper Clubs and they evoked a sense of occasion. It was a special place to celebrate with your family. In 2014, Jensen's Supper Club became Jensen's food & cocktails. The objective was to create a more casual atmosphere environment more welcoming to a broad demographic. Surrounded by new outlet shops Jensen's food & cocktails becomes the perfect pre- or post-shopping experience for lunch or dinner for anyone seeking a great meal in a casual atmosphere offered with impeccable service. Jensen's food & cocktails continues to celebrate its original mission: A place not merely to dine, but to celebrate!

Pretty good. A little over priced.

We've been here several times. It has usually been good food, but the service has been hit and miss. This time was pretty good. Pop-overs were great as usual. Ceasar salad wasn't great. Prime rib was decent. Hashbrows were outstanding. Pasta was good. Service was average. Outdoor patio was... read more

I had a bowl of Prime rib vegetable soup and the Prime rib French dip. It was 2 inches high, tender, melt in your mouth. The Au jus was delicious. My husband had the steak and lobster for $24 it was wonderful. The bread is fresh baked and garlic butter. friendly fast service. I noted something while eating. a customer... More

By chance we dined at Jensen's. Our choice was confirmed the minute that we walked through the door. Very busy restaurant, but waited short time. Pleasant atmosphere, well taken care of by our server "Dave" (sometimes called Chris). The popovers were perfect. The ribeye was tender, cooked as requested and seasoned well. The coconut shrimp was the best we have... More

Nice atmosphere. The food was excellent and cheaper than Flemings; it was nice to see both reasonably expensive and inexpensive options for dinners for all. Both steak/prime rib and seafood options were great. The sides were large and can feed 2 to 3 people.

The walleye and chicken breast were both bland, nothing special. Service friendly. Drinks a good size. Lots of better options for a meal where all veggies and potatoes are a la carte. We won't be back.

What makes a restaurant special? That's a great question and the answer is unique for each of us. For me, that special restaurant is a place I fondly look forward to visiting again - and that is based in atmosphere, service, food quality/preparation, presentation and value for the price paid. For me Jensen's scored at the top in all of... More

Jensen's remains basically the same despite dropping the supper club in its name. The old favorite entrees are there. They are open for lunch daily which is a plus. A good place to dine out south of the Minnesota River to celebrate a special event or special friends. One change is that the early bird specials end at 5:30 pm... More

We went here with my in laws for Father's Day. Server was very curt when communicating and made a mess every time he refilled our water glasses. Prime rib was excellent. Four cheese potato side was very good. Homemade cheesecake with strawberries was really good. Noise level inside was quite loud, making it hard to carry on conversation at our... More

Took the extended family here to celebrate our son's college graduation. Our waitperson deftly handled our party of 9. He was prompt, professional, and engaging. The wine and cocktail menu is solid, and the menu offers a range of options. Many of us went for their signature prime rib and their famous popovers. The food was well prepared and well... More

Brought my elderly mother to Jensen's for a mid morning breakfast. We were seated promptly and the wait staff was friendly, prompt and engaging. While we were looking over the menu, I said "Oh, they have chicken fried steak" and we both ended up ordering it. Maybe not the best choice from their wonderful menu but certainly not a disappointment... More
