He Jensen family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. In 1947 Doron Jensen's grandfather Al and his brother Pete Jensen founded Jensen's Cafe in Fremont, Nebraska. Doron started his restaurant career working for his grandfather at the cafe. When Al died in 1979 Doron wanted to takeover Jensen's Cafe but he was too young at the time. Doron worked in the chain-restaurant business for many years, including founding a local steak house chain. He eventually grew tired of chains and wanted to start a "Local Landmark Restaurant" dedicated to his grandparents. In 1996, Jensen's Supper Club was born. Jensen's Supper Club was created with the mission that Supper Clubs belonged to the community. The 40's and 50's were the glory eras for Supper Clubs and they evoked a sense of occasion. It was a special place to celebrate with your family. In 2014, Jensen's Supper Club became Jensen's food & cocktails. The objective was to create a more casual atmosphere environment more welcoming to a broad demographic. Surrounded by new outlet shops Jensen's food & cocktails becomes the perfect pre- or post-shopping experience for lunch or dinner for anyone seeking a great meal in a casual atmosphere offered with impeccable service. Jensen's food & cocktails continues to celebrate its original mission: A place not merely to dine, but to celebrate!

Delicious, traditional supper club fare, relaxing atmosphere

Jensen's is a special occasion restaurant for us and what a great treat it is! We look forward to the popovers that come with dinner as well as the delicious house salad. We were welcomed from the moment we walked in. Love the décor! The service was excellent throughout our dining experience. The Walleye was excellent! The coconut shrimp was good - had better. The crab legs were ok. Slightly better than ones you'd find at a good Chinese buffet. The popovers were fun and great tasting. The salad was good. It... More

First time here -- wanted someplace to eat between grandkids soccer & football games. Pleasantly surprised - bigger & decor was more than we expected. Waiter was friendly & efficient.. Food was a little spendy but very good. Would go back if it was closer to our home..

From the time we walked in until the time we departed, we felt welcome! The food was excellent, the wait staff pleasant, prompt and professional, and the atmosphere very comfortable. We will be back!

I will start out with saying earlier this summer I was vacationing in Virginia Beach. I was able to dine at really great places with really good food, but one of my favorites, crab cakes, were not on the menu. I was sorely disappointed. I never did get my crab cakes. For my birthday we had plans to go to... More

This place has reinvented itself in all of the right ways. The décor is now modern and long gone are the starched, black and white penguin suits that once adorned the lifer wait staff here. Gone too is the age old homage to the 70's...the relish tray. I never quite got the hoopla over three sticks of celery and a... More

I read a review and the writer said he was surprised when the bill came and saw that potatoes are extra. The person obviously did not read the menu, which clearly states the price for an entree and then lists several sides that, in my opinion, cost too much. Jensen's is now open for lunch to get some of the... More

For a special dinner or an evening out, Jensen's provides a good dinner and a very pleasant atmosphere. On my most recent trip I had the early bird special of twin filets of beef. Tender and tasty. One of my very favorite places to invite a guest for s special lunch or dinner.

Rib eye was one of the best steaks I have ever had! Salad was good, turnover was a bit undercooked. Service was ok and all was done in a great time frame. I paid $34 for a 12 ounce ribeye but I was a bit surprised when I found out that potatoes were extra, thought this should be part of... More

The food was okay. The service was not good at all. We had a party of 6 adults and one 12 year old. Our waitress had an attitude (like she would rather be anywhere but where she was). She never came back to ask if we wanted anything. She wasn't available to serve our food, so a very pleasant young... More
