He Jensen family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. In 1947 Doron Jensen's grandfather Al and his brother Pete Jensen founded Jensen's Cafe in Fremont, Nebraska. Doron started his restaurant career working for his grandfather at the cafe. When Al died in 1979 Doron wanted to takeover Jensen's Cafe but he was too young at the time. Doron worked in the chain-restaurant business for many years, including founding a local steak house chain. He eventually grew tired of chains and wanted to start a "Local Landmark Restaurant" dedicated to his grandparents. In 1996, Jensen's Supper Club was born. Jensen's Supper Club was created with the mission that Supper Clubs belonged to the community. The 40's and 50's were the glory eras for Supper Clubs and they evoked a sense of occasion. It was a special place to celebrate with your family. In 2014, Jensen's Supper Club became Jensen's food & cocktails. The objective was to create a more casual atmosphere environment more welcoming to a broad demographic. Surrounded by new outlet shops Jensen's food & cocktails becomes the perfect pre- or post-shopping experience for lunch or dinner for anyone seeking a great meal in a casual atmosphere offered with impeccable service. Jensen's food & cocktails continues to celebrate its original mission: A place not merely to dine, but to celebrate!

Great for a special, family get together!

Great food, service was also wonderful! We were there for my son's 30th Birthday! The waiter was wonderful! He also made sure to make the birthday a special event, with a free dessert, enough that 8pp could share. It was a little pricey, but no more than any nice restaurant. The Food was Wonderful!!

My wife and I have dined at Jensens a number of times over the years. The food has always been very good, try the Oscar Walleye and you won't be disappointed. The prices however have risen quite a bit and now we only go there for special occasions. It does get very busy so reservations are recommended.

Large portions, great service, quality wine list. With the location right next to a new outlet mall and many new apartment buildings, I expected it to be crowded and overpriced. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised with the prices and the wait was only a couple minutes before we were sat at a table.

I am glad I tried out Jensen's before bringing a client there. I have passed Jensen's for years and always wanted to stop thinking it was a high end "supper-dinner" club type restaurant. It was not. It is old. Needs attention. Not only to the building and to the decorating but to the menu. It gave me the impression it... More

We love Jensen's. In fact, we go there quite often. Everything on the menu is great. The popovers that are served with honey butter with every meal are to die for. If you like a Cosmo or Martini, the leave the whole shaker so it is like getting 2 drinks for one. They are good for dinner as well as... More

Went to Jensen's on Sunday around 2pm. It was dead which was surprising. Our waiter was very nice but the service was soooo slow. We got there about 1:45 and didn't get out until at least 3:30. For no one being there that was a bit much. The lunch menu was good but nothing I couldn't get elsewhere. Overall I... More

I have been going to Jensens for years. I have always had consistently great food and service. But, in the last few years, the prices have went up, the portions have gotten smaller, the wait staff is not nearly as attentive and the food is inconsistent. I went there last week with a couple of clients. We sat at the... More

The atmosphere is great, and our server was very attentive. But the salad had almost no flavor. The potatoes were obviously made long before they are served and reheated. The steaks were average. The popovers were good.

Jensen's has an exceptional reputation that I think is not warranted. The food is quite good, but it costs a lot. For the most part, you have to order a la carte. The sides are large and will feed two; they cost about $8, for example, for a baked potato.

I love the food at Jensen's, and the wait staff was on point the whole evening, made our birthday celebration, special.
