We needed a relaxed place for 18 people and this grill was recommended for bbq platters and sandwiches, and good cold drinks....we called and the long table was set up when we arrived...the waitstaff was very courteous and kept present for drink orders while our food was ordered. Some of us... read more

It's been a long time since I've had such a great time at one place but the Lone Oak Grill served up everything one would ever want. The live music set the mood but the food and service were extraordinary. We capped the evening playing the various outdoor games. It is truly a wonderful place to hang out with friends... More

Good location and neat decor. Food is American Bistro and their smoked meats are pretty good. Reason for only 3 stars is management and staff. Employee's are not trained and at times rude. They have above average wings, and my favorite entree is the smoked pork chop.

We were here on a Friday night. They had some live music on the outside, large, area and lots of TVs showing multiple sporting events. The menu wasn't huge and leaned toward BBQ items. One of us had the chicken platter - lots of food with pulled bbq chicken, baked beans (very good), cole slaw, potatoes, and jalapeño cornbread (I... More

We had been out in the sun all day. We checked into our room and decided it was easier to eat here instead of getting in the car and going somewhere else. We should have gone somewhere else. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was aweful, my husband had the Lone Oak Club and that was pretty good. Wish I... More

We are from the south so I know smoked meat. I think this was good smoked meat...I say think because both the ribs and brisket were drowning in sauce so I'm not sure about the meat since a lot of mistakes can be covered with sauces. The ribs were good but not "falling off of the bone" tender as they should... Happy hour until 6. Went on a Friday with friends at 5:30 and got to order off happy hour menu. Many items are $6.00 for a nice big portion. We got the buffalo nachos(good), cheese curds (great!), dozen chicken wings (great deal), artichoke dip (very good), and a double cheeseburger (good). In looking at the regular menu, we thought it... I had the combo platter with ribs and brisket. VERY good. The baked beans were quite possibly the best I ever had. We also ordered the cheese curds--and those were definitely the best I've ever had. (says a lot, because I frequently work in Wisc) Would visit time and again. We were just in town for business, if I were... More

We went here for dinner with about 110 people and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the half chicken, barbecued, and it came with coleslaw, beans, fries (or onion rings, or a few other chouices), corn bread and extra bbq sauce. It was delicious. The skin was crispy and the chicken was moist... More
