The last two times I've visited this location I have become sick. I'm staying away for a long time. It's busy, loud and for average tasting food that really surprises me. There is no other Mexican food chain that I can compare this to...love Chipotle!!

This is our go-to regular places whenever we start craving this highly addictive Mexican food which also happens to be cheap. I have even compared it with Chipotle and feel El loro rates higher for it's mouthwatering flavors, excellent chips and salsa and it's authentic Mexican taste. But be warned, it is loaded with heavy cheese and tomato sauces, so... More

This restaurant was very busy on a Saturday afternoon and finding parking can be a challenge, but the food was excellent. The chips/salsa/dip are very good and we have to restrain ourselves from overeating chips before our meal was served. The chicken taco salad was exceptional. It was loaded with delicious shredded meat; more meat than lettuce! Portions are generous... More

Well, so I went to this place because it was close to my hotel. I have to admit, the reviews were mixed on here, so I wasn't sure, but I didn't want to drive too far. I was pleasantly surprised. I have to say that the positive reviews were right and so were the mixed ones (in a way).... So,... More

My friends and my family refer to this place as "Chips and Salsa" because that is the whole reason to come to this restaurant. It is so good i think about it for days. I am not a big fan of the other food. I usually just get the rice and beans to go with my chips and salsa. One... More

If you like ground beef inside a tortilla shell with tomato soup poured on this is the place you! Worst/bland food I've ever eaten, will NEVER go back. Even the strawberry margaritas where nothing to write about. You want real Mexican food head over to El Burrito Mercado on Cesar Chavez in St. Paul!

We've been going to El Loro since they opened their first joint in Savage, MN. Now they have places all over the southern metro area. The Eagan location took over a space in a strip mall that started out as a PDQ gas station and saw a bunch of restaurants open and close. El Loro has been there now for... More

Got our chips and salsa, bland. Asked for a spicy salsa and was given a dish of chopped jalapenos. Didn't use them on the chips, but did use them on my enchiladas which were rather tasteless. Did ask for chicken enchiladas, and got beef, but as soon as I mentioned to our waiter, he immediately put in my chicken order... More
