Indian food tastes way better than you can eat here. Believe me, its just a scent of meal that makes you feel like ur eating indian food not the taste of food. I will still go there sometimes coz this is the only indian restaurant in this area.

Nice flavors and a little variety of Indian dishes. I am not all that familiar with Indian cuisine, however, I liked everything that I have tried.

We enjoyed ordering off of the menu during the lunch buffet time. We felt that the food would be more fresh at the 1 p.m time frame we were there. We loved our choices. We were disappointed that there was no sauce for us to combat the spicy food, but we ordered the cucumber/yogurt sauce. It was all very good.... More

I was a guest at a local hotel and had a taste for Indian. After reading the mixed reviews I was cautious, but decided to give it a try. The signs said they open at 5pm for dinner so I walked from the hotel arriving around 4:50pm. At around 5:05pm an employee comes out of the locked door and says... More

I like this place. I'm a frequent customer here and have been for years, in fact since the day it opened. The buffet is always decent, and usually better than decent. This is not food out of a food service bag, so the taste depends on the chef who is cooking. Naan usually comes out frequently, and dishes usually refilled... More

The restaurant is looking a little dated and tired, like much of the down town. But the food is very good, and the staff were nice.

I am very sad to see all the negative reviews! I have eaten at this restaurant many times and love it! We have always had good, friendly service! The food has always been outstanding (ok I am a northern Minnesotan who doesn't like spicy food, s I can see why some might think its bland), however, anything you order off... More

Brought out of town guests to India Palace for lunch buffet. Choices were limited and very little in each warming pan. We waited for refills--nothing. There was little left but gravy, no meat. This was an hour before lunch time ended, we spent waaaaaay too much money on lunch--over $40 for nothing. If you go for the buffet and there... More

The India Palace is located in the heart of downtown Duluth. It is handy to the Holiday Inn and Suites for a quick lunch, and is also close to the skyway that leads over to the DECC and Canal Park. Prices are moderate and the food was very good.
