You wouldn't expect it to be a great place judging by the looks of the building. Looks like a diner, but the menu selection is awesome. I ordered the fish tacos and they were so good! So much flavor. Not your average restaurant.

On weekends, safe to say you should be prepared for a wait. Ours was't that long--maybe 10-15 minutes. We did accept counter seating, though, so the wait was shorter. Actually, I now wouldn't sit at the counter. The seats are simply too low. Even my husband-who is a foot taller than I--found them uncomfortably low. And he other environmental issue... More

How did I miss it? A lot of great food! A friend in passing told me about this little spot as you come in from the Twin Cities. We went at 1:30 on a saturday afternoon and to my surprise, we had about a 20 minute wait. I now understand why there was a wait... The food was top notch,... More

Food was ok, over rated, long waits, servers are overworked, not an enjoyable experience! Washrooms are old and stinky, the place is a diner yes but looks outdated and tired, the waiting area is crammed, go when it's not as busy you may have a better experience!

Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING, we tried this one day for lunch and loved it so much we went back the next day for breakfast. I'm headed to D/S again this weekend and this HAS to be one of my places to eat this weekend.

Think healthy diner food. Reuben's corn beef made on premises, as is ketchup & just about everything else. First time I've had a Reuben w/ fresh-made sauerkraut in my life - every bite is delicious. Husband loved the fresh whitefish tacos, and daughter happy w/ half a sandwich w/ fresh fruit option. Great service. Could be a tad cleaner.

I have been lucky to eat here twice now, and wow! Everything is made from scratch. Very fabulous and unique. I also love how outside they have turned every spare space into a garden that is random and fun. If you are in Duluth, add this to your itinerary for sure!

The food was fabulous the atmosphere was very homey but the food was not what you get at home it was a taste explosion! I had the Monday special stuffed pepper tacos and it was amazing. My husband had the pasty and he was very pleased with amount of meat and potatoes in it. The chef came out and explained... More

We visited in August 2014 based on the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We wanted to try something away from the touristy restaurants in the Canal Park area. We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated after a brief wait. The service was fantastic. They have quite a broad menu. Everything from breakfast... More
