Ate here on our most recent trip to Duluth. We have chips and guacamole and salsa as an app. All of it was freshly made, you could tell! I'm picky about processed guacamole or salsa. Super fresh and flavorful and good homemade chips too. Had the salmon salad, again fresh and delicious with plenty of dressing on the side with... More

We went to tour the campus at UMD over MEA weekend and decided to stop for lunch afterwards. It was Friday, 1:00 of a long holiday weekend so we weren't surprised when there was a wait for a table. On the surface this place does not look like anything special. but the food -- amazing! I had the fish tacos... More

This diner/restaurant has some unusual fare and we each had something different from the "special" of turkey and dressing which was like Thanksgiving at Grandma's, to Red Flannel hors d'oeuvres, garlic gouda burger, or salmon salad, the menu choices were fresh and tasty. There is a wait for the tables even though we came at a "down-time", but were a... More

My wife heard about this restaurant on The Food Network, so we went this past weekend. The parking lot is pretty shabby and the exterior is not very impressive. Once inside, however, the decor is great, very colorful and themed very well to the menu. The food and drink were awesome and the above was great too! I had the... More

We were in Duluth with our two teenage sons on a house hunting trip for a pending move. It was a very frustrating experience but our realtor kept telling us to try Duluth Grill. We took her advice and showed up for brunch on Sunday. There was a 40 minute wait but it was worth every second!! Everything is fresh... More

Call ahead seating is a must as they don't take reservations and they are ALWAYS busy. Great gluten free options and the menu is extensive and delicious. Save room for the banana cream pie, you won't be dissappointed and I don't even care for bananas that much.

Great food and good value for having organic ingredients. Long wait on Sunday morning but worth the wait. The owner even came out to chat with us to see how we were doing and checked on our wait. He also was helping staff clean up! Caramel apple French toast was amazing and could have been dessert.

Visited for the first time on a very busy Friday nite. Saw lots of folks ordering breakfast, should have too. Diner with booths as well as counter service. Great for families.

We recently stopped at the Duluth Grill on our way up to the north shore and what a wonderful treat! We enjoyed the food so much that we drove back down for a late lunch the next day. Both times it was busy but we were seated immediately and service was prompt. We tried the pasties, the fish tacos, and... More

The locals know this place is special and now we know it too. We recently ate our first meal at the Duluth Grill and were delighted. We shared Jaima's Homemade Lasagna and a Wrenshall Pasty. Both were flavorful and delicious. The service was great. We were too full to try our server's favorite desert, the banana pie...We'll be back.
