I went with my hubby and two young children to Sammy's for lunch. The pizza and garlic bread were tasty. Our server was friendly and efficient.

Having grown up in Duluth in the '50s, Sammy's Pizza was a special treat. But on our return visits to Duluth, we come back to Sammy's for more than nostalgic reasons. Their pizza is the closest to what we find in Italy: great ingredients on a thin but not sweet crust (so you don't load up on "bread"). The lunch... More

After spending a long day in Duluth, we just wanted to relax in the hotel. All four of us were hungry so we looked up delivery places and found Sammy's Pizza. We ordered a 16-inch pepperoni and sausage pizza. The crust was homemade and it was really cheesy. There were a few pieces of meat on each slice, which we... More

In town for a family trip, Sammy's was minutes from out hotel and we felt like pizza. It was worth the shirt walk! Pizza was delicious and the price was a surprise. Very affordable. We left satisfied!!

Just average buffet style pizza and pasta at lunch times. Nothing outstanding here or at any of the other Sammy's pizzas in the area either.

After a late night at the opera and a late lunch, we didn't need anything until the eleven o'clock hour. Sammy's Pizza was just minutes away from our hotel and affordable at that hour. Make sure you ask for napkins, since they didn't bring any in less than a half an hour of delivery... It tasted great, and was more... More

Always eat at Sammy's when we're down in Duluth. Best thin crust ever, and always served really hot!

The pizza is fabulous. Little squares of thin, crispy, hot, gooey goodness! We had teh 4 meat pizza and loved it. We also learned that there is a Sammy's in Minot, ND andwe will definitely check it out when we are out west this month. Our waitress was pleasant, the garlic bread crisp but not nearly garlic-y enough for us.... More

Sammy's Pizza on 1st was exactly what my mom and I were looking for on our recent trip to Duluth: a comfortable, low-key, local joint with real handmade, fresh, non-chain-like pizza. Yes, Sammy's DOES have multiple locations, but the pizza isn't cookie cutter. Arrived around 5:30 midweek and sat right down. The thin, crunchy crust and the sauce were flavorful,... More

Seriously love this pizza so much - it's always a highlight when we go to Duluth! Crust is thin, wood fired style. Pizzas are generous but a bit pricey! Worth it though
