My wife and I did a two week tour of several cities in Minnesota, including Grand Marais, Duluth & Hibbing. We were up there to escape the Florida heat and didn't really know what we were going to do, but turned out to have a really great vacation. Please see my other posts regarding lodging, meals, etc. if you are... More

This restaurant is good for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I had the falafel with sweet potato fries. My pals had the grass-fed beef burger and the black bean burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal! At Sara's Table has a very decent beer and wine selection to boot.

Went there for a nice dinner. In retrospect would try their grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Fish tacos were underimpressive with flour tortillas for the shell. Would not go back for dinner but might try it for lunch.

My friend and I each ordered coffee and a meal. My friend also asked for hot water as she always asks for it to dilute her coffee. She was charged for coffee AND hot water. When she spoke with the manager he said they always charge for hot water as a table service charge. I can understand this for the... More

Good cake. Confusing menu. Small portions. Good attentive staff, if a little quirky.

I'm a former resident of Duluth and remember At Sara's Table (or Chester Creek Cafe or whatever anyone cares to call it - the name's inconsequential) as Taran's Market. I'll take the restaurant, thank you very much! I drove past on the first day of my latest visit to Duluth, and my eye was drawn simply because of the sheer... More

We looked forward to lunch here while traveling through Duluth based on all the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very disappointed. My husband's grass-fed burger was very dry, almost burnt. He had ordered it with mushrooms and it arrived with onions instead. When he told the waitress she seemed very put out that he was even mentioning it. She... More

I've been here a number of times and the food is marvelous. It's fresh--appealing to both the eyes and taste. The restaurant is casual comfortable with oversized wooden booths. It's a good place to go with friends for coffee and lunch. Also, the owners are very nice and very responsible locals who do their part to help the environment and... More

I have dined here and have never, ever been disappointed with the food or the service. The menu is a wonderful, eclectic mix and the food preparation is always delicious and making me want more!
