I'm always disgusted when I drive up to a restaurant and the staff is standing outside having a smoke. I know it's common and I guess better than smoking in the kitchen. It's probably an unfair bias (on my part) but, I find it a disgusting habit that I don't want my food preparers and/or servers doing. At any rate,... More

At Sara's Table is a real local treasure. With and eclectic vibe and a menu to match it, this place is a great spot for lunch. Try the Wild Rice Cranberry French Toast, you will not be disappointed.

We visited today for lunch and were served by Sonja in her very fetching elf outfit. A delightful, personable lady who did her job well. We had soup and shared a pulled pork sandwich. The spicy pork sausage and cauliflower soup was fresh tasting and well balanced - delicious. The lentil soup was also appreciated by my companion. The sandwich... More

We went to try Sara's Table on a Sunday morning around 10:30, only to find it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. I would have been more than okay with this, except the restaurant was at 40% capacity at best. I asked the hostess if they were missing servers and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked... More

Went there with another couple for dinner. It is a rather plain place with many of the tables in a row and a good view of the kitchen and serving activities. The food was very good but nothing really exceptional and it took close to an hour to arrive on what appeared to be not an especially busy night. Two... More

A friend told us about this restaurant or we never would have found it, as it is off the beaten track in Duluth. We both ordered the cranberry wild rice French toast and it was very good. We had a choice of two syrups, both good. It is serve yourself coffee so you can start drinking coffee as soon as... More

On a recent gray morning in Duluth, my husband I checked out At Sara's Table Chester Creek Cafe. It had been recommended by a local and we were not steered wrong. They had an extensive breakfast menu and the prices were quite reasonable. My husband had a HUGE breakfast burrito - he was only able to eat 2/3rds of it.... More

We were having a really crappy trip to Duluth based upon poor weather and originally checking into a dive hotel accidentally, when we followed our GPS to Sara's Table...which we'd found on happycow.com I believe. Wow. I can't say how wonderful every dish was. Someone in our group had fish tacos, WOW, two of us had black bean quesadillas, YUM,... More

I am from Duluth and went there for breakfast with my two children ages 6 and 8. I ordered the burrito and the kids ordered a Mickey cake off the kids menu. The waitress offered juice and a side of bacon for the kids. I was stunned when the bill arrived...$42!! My kids meals were $14 each. Ouch!

I grew up in Duluth back in the day and went to Sarah's Table for Sunday brunch - super crowded at 10:30 am 1/2 wait Food was ok - hard to mess with eggs and pancakes - which were huge- smoked salmon ( not to be confused with lox) was very dry and chewy. Would not recommend it! Service was... More
