We rated this interesting restaurant "Very Good" with a strong review when we had lunch there a few days ago. The reviewer who called it "Gourmet Hippie Food" is a good description but not in a negative way. Here's the issue after two visits: Service can be spotty and slow. Also, the cooks never told our waiter that my wife's... More

Truly a local restaurant with local craft beers, vodka and embracing farm to table food sources. The restaurant has a great vibe and energy with wood floors, floor to ceiling book shelves of all sorts, live music, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes this place amazing. We went twice during our stay in Duluth and the pancakes are amazing. The... More

Excellent meals, very well prepared form local and organic sources. Everything I've tried here has been above expectations. My wife and I always eat here when we come to the North Shore.

My meal was very good. The outdoor seating with a distant view of Lake Superior was pleasant. The service was a bit slow; maybe its just intended to be relaxing.

I've been to this restaurant many times for business in the last few years -- the restaurant is attractive, the location is good, so it is a default choice of many. I appreciate the restaurant's effort to serve locally sourced foods, and the menu looks interesting. Sometimes the food and service is good. However, in my view this restaurant far... More

Up until 3:30 on Saturday it is breakfast and brunch from the left side of the menu. That was OK, we tried a veggie burger that was excellent. Good selection of local beers and the Bloody Mary was superb. Save room for pie! Comfortable room with tons of books all around. Nice part of town and a big parking lot... More

After waiting nearly an hour, both at the front of Sara's Table restaurant and in a booth, on a weekday afternoon after the lunch rush, we finally left the restaurant. No food had made it to our table, and by this time we were not just annoyed by the deeply indifferent and incompetent service, we were insulted. They had accomplished... More

Stopped here for breakfast on a trip up north with friends. Everyone's food was delicious and fresh. You can tell that they take pride in their food and try to keep most everything organic and locally sourced. You don't mind paying a little more when you know what you are eating is good for you! Highly recommend it for breakfast-... More
