We arrived right after Sir Ben's opened. We were the third group in line. The first two groups were getting take out orders, as were we. They had a cashier who was spending more time barking orders at the two food preparers than taking orders. We ordered the Italian Melt and the British Melt. My receipt had a time of... More

Sir Ben's is one of my favorite summer venues. If you can find a spot on the patio facing the lake, you can't beat the view. They used to have Strongbow original on tap, which is why I started going there (now they have Strongbow Gold Apple, which isn't nearly as good). The food is what keeps bringing me back.... More

This is a smaller beer bar with decent sandwich selection. The ordering process is different, go inside and order then go find a table. The sandwiches are good but not great. Good beer selection but nothing special anymore with the brewery explosion.

Sometimes you walk into a restaurant not knowing what to expect and just because its there and you are so damn hungry - Well this place is one of the best surprises ever. They serve a range of sandwiches soups and salads and a small but excellent desert list. Everything was exceeding good! Fresh well prepared and sincerely tasty. The... More

We stumbled upon this awesome little tavern! The staff was great and drinks were cold! We didn't eat, but the food looked amazing.

Go to the patio and savor MN delightful summertime and the lack beyond the road......or on a cold winter night, nab a spot by the black stove and a board game..watch some hockey above the bar, eat some custom simple food and chill (literally)...you'll be glad you did.

This is always the first place we come to when we get to Duluth. They've changed owners a couple times over the last few years - not always great - but the food and atmosphere hasn't been lost. Make sure to grad a pint of local beer and a fresh sandwich. Homemade soups are usually awesome too. There's frequently live... More

My boyfriend and I have been going to Sir Benedict's for a long time and love the food. Today we went in and there was a waiter named David. He was extremely rude to both us and the other staff working. When we said what type of beer we wanted, he said "Oh, you are one of those people." Also,... More

One of the best meeting spots for lunch in the Twin Ports. Excellent homemade soups and sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and lots of imagination. Very homey and comfortable atmosphere with superb people watching and Lake Superior views.

A regular stop of mine when in Duluth for lunch. Hand cut bread, delicious, quality ingredients, makes for a great sandwich. Sit on the patio, enjoy your lunch and the view of the lake.
