Spendy American Mexican Food

It's good food but nothing special. I love their shrimp enchiladas with wild rice. Other then that one dish, I don't find the food crazy good or out of the box with seasoning. Margaritas are expensive also but they do have unique flavors.

I've eaten here many times. I always like the food. The service is great! This time we had our toddler (who is a picky eater) with and the kids menu was great! The fresh fruit was 2 big slices of fresh pineapple, a slice of cantaloupe, a slice of muskmelon and a handful of grapes! It was nice to get... More

We were driving from Beaver Bay to Minneapolis. Someone in our gang said they would love some spicy food for the cold weather. A friend suggested this place. The ambiance is great. Food portions are larger as expected. I had a chimichanga with delicious black beans and cilantro rice. The watermelon smoothie was the only thing that we didn't like.... More

the kitchen closes early. We were there at 1030p, on Friday and the kitchen was closed. The staff was very nice, the margaritas were very average

We sat inside due to the intense sun and warmth when we visited. The margaritas were very good, accompanied by seafood enchiladas, which we split. Plenty for lunch, and we were walking so there was no issue with driving. The inside atmosphere was fairly typical of a Mexican restaurant in The USA. It was clean and the waiter was helpful... Great location in Canal Park, close to a lot of fun stuff in Duluth. We were there on a Sunday in October and had no problems getting a table. You have to pay $.99 for chips, which is pretty ridiculous at a Mexican restaurant. And they were just okay. The salsa is really a pico de gallo, not a restaurant... More

We don’t have to review this really, just find someplace else to eat. That is, of course, unless you really like Sriracha tasting black beans, Spanish rice, enchiladas, etc…. you get the drift. It is one thing if you order everything that way, but I didn’t.

We ordered nachos to start. All the chips were broken and in little pieces. Flavors were nice but it created the feeling that it wasn't fresh.

This place was a spur of the moment decision for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were seated at the outside patio, which was great. The server was nice and pretty efficient. We ordered some teas and chips and salsa to start. The chips I believe, we're from a bag (not homemade), but the fresh salsas were delicious! However,... More
