Description: Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since...
Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since 1999 Bellisio’s restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while all this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. And no wonder. The experience is fashioned after the small village of Bellisio, Italy, home to the owner’s ancestry. Imported direct from Italy are the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious recipes. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared pasta dishes using the finest imported and local ingredients; fennel roasted rack of pork; homemade risotto dishes; grilled steaks; shrimp; seafood; and a fresh catch feature every day. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Bellisio’s has received Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since we opened in 1999. It’s a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dining experience.

Bellisios is Bellisimo!

Excellent service, wonderful food, great ambiance. By far the BEST wine selection in the Northland. Recipes show a level of sophistication and complexity that surpasses other restaurants in the area. Well worth the price.

This restaurant was a total disappointment. I got the Fettecine Alfredo with portabella mushrooms. The sauce was in itself runny and the mushrooms were large strips-not chopped and they made the sauce even more runny. It also tasted funny. The only thing that was good was the expensive olive oil and fresh bread they served with the meal. I was... More

A few things that are simply bad got in the way of a meal that was nicely prepared: We were put at a table in the bar that was next to the outdoor patio door, occasioning frequent rushes of the chilled evening. Really uncomfortable. Our waitress walked right by our table 5 times without noticing that we were done with... More

This is one of only a few spots in Duluth that offer wine flights. We stopped in and ordered two flights and a cheese plate to share then enjoyed a glass of wine. We were in the bar where the service is very good. The wine list is long and there are many very nice wines to choose from at... More

Expensive. Steak not done enough. Décor a bit cheezy. But, the best "fine dining" option in Canal Park. Good service. Good-sized portions.

Bellisio's Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar in Duluth, MN I took Jodi here for our monthly date night, Saturday, 5/25/2013, around five thirty. She didn't know where I was taking her, but she was driving. The online directions we used from Mapquest made it easy to find. We pulled up in front of the restaurant and saw an opened handicapped... Very good shrimp scampi. The shrimp was veey good. And a very good sized portion. A little expensive but not too bad. A very expansive wine list as well. A pairing for any meal. Even some that haven't been invented yet!

Went on a busy Friday night. It was loud but that was due to a wedding rehearsal dinner next to us. Had the chicken pancetta which was good.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. We were going to order a appetizer until I saw a main entree being served. The portions are very large. The wine list was huge. The waitress we had was very polite and answered all our questions. This is a wonderful place to celebrate something special. Both our dinners were very good. I... More
