Description: Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since...
Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since 1999 Bellisio’s restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while all this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. And no wonder. The experience is fashioned after the small village of Bellisio, Italy, home to the owner’s ancestry. Imported direct from Italy are the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious recipes. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared pasta dishes using the finest imported and local ingredients; fennel roasted rack of pork; homemade risotto dishes; grilled steaks; shrimp; seafood; and a fresh catch feature every day. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Bellisio’s has received Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since we opened in 1999. It’s a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dining experience.

I'm impressed.

I want to have a grudge against this place because it is part of Grandma's "chain" - but their food is top knoch and there service staff is very smart and cares alot about your experience. Yesterday I enjoyed lunch on the patio, with Tracey as our waitress who actually really knew wine, and could... read more

We tried both the Super Tuscan and the Chianti flights -- good value and fun to compare. Dinner was delicious -- definitely NOT the Olive Garden! We started with the olive selection, then I had the Pappardelle alla Norcina (sausage, cream, peas), while my husband had the Pappardelle Seafood Puttanesca. Neither one of us really wanted to share! Our server,... More

We stayed within a few blocks of Bellisio's, we had supper on a Sunday evening. The food and service were excellent, it reminded us of being in Italy last year!

Can't remember the exact name of the dish but it had Italian sausage and a very tasty Arrabbiata sauce! Would definitely recommend. Also hired the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Very good but very rich.

The food is very good, and you get large portions. It might be slightly over priced, and the restaurant is a little dark, but otherwise it is great.

Spent the weekend in Duluth and went to the Canal area for dinner. Got in at 8:30pm to Bellisio's and was impressed with their menu. The waitress we had was extremely friendly and helped us plan out the things we should see and do, including drawing a map on the table covering. The food was quite good with my wife having... More

I love Italian food and am fortunate to be able to dine in Boston's North End. Bellisio's food rivals anything I've had there. My husband and I shared the eggplant appetizer and shrimp fra diavolo while seated at the bar. Two nights later we returned for the exact same meal, plus a chicken and pasta dish to go. No need... Amazing food and staff... Really worth the trip and money!! We went there for our anniversary and the food was so delicious, the staff was so friendly & every thing was very upscale as far as decor, but I'm a small town girl.

My first visit and didn't disappoint. I had a panini and it came with the best French fries and dipping sauce ever! Liked there were gluten free options for my husband. Will definitely go back next time we are in Duluth.

Love the decor and the low lit setup, but the food was under seasoned. We had the special pork chop with a mushroom ravioli, shrimp scampi, alfredo, and bolongnese. Pork chop needed salt, ravioli was good, scampi was bland, Alfredo was too salty (from cheeses, i am guessing), but the bolongnese was good. Loved the meat in their bolongnese. The... More
