The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!

Very nice atmosphere

I opted for the Sirloin steak. I ordered it medium and it was a tad undercooked, but it was full of flavor and acceptable. The soup, french onion, was very tasty. I would get a whole next time if it is available. My only complaint was I ordered a Diet Coke. It only was available in a can and... read more

Love love love this place! Great atmosphere, service and food! They've been in business for over a hundred years for a reason...because they're the best, good drinks too! I had the hot beef sandwich and it was fantastic! Hubby had the deep fried burger and said it was good. Great bloody marys!

We visited Pickwick on a Sunday for a late lunch. There was no wait and we got a great table with a great view. My husband remembers going to Pickwick as a child with his uncle and the food is still great. I had a lake trout, real mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was exceptionally good - everything was real... More

This place on the shore on Lake Superior has been around for a long time. Food is really good. They haven't remodeled in decades and it's a cool throwback. They are closed from November to early April every year.

After a long crazy day in Duluth, we escaped a power outage in the Canal Park area and went searching for a nice restaurant. We found this by accident, and were so pleased. The decor and atmosphere inside was wonderful, and the food was terrific. We'll return next time we're in town.

We stopped in yesterday for a great lunch. The soup of the day was New England Clam Chowder, which was very good. My wife ordered the Shrimp and I had their Cod Lunch Special. Both were great. Our waitress (Kala) went out of her way to make it great!! The Onion Rings are the best in Duluth!!

Fabulous dinner. Great service. Best pork chop we have ever had. Beef kabobs were great too. My husband was thrilled they had Bells beer on tap. Nice place.

This is a beautiful old restaurant that served up the best salmon that I have had in a very long time! Also had a pretty view of the lake.

We had a very bad experience eating lunch in Duluth during our drive from Minneapolis to Grand Marais, Minnesota. Service was poor, wait for our foods was long, foods we ordered were not delicious and they were expensive ($15 for my bowl of plain tomato soup). We decided to try another restaurant on our way back from Grand Marais to... More
