Description: The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!

Very upscale with a warm atmosphere. The food was very good along with the service. If you are visting Duluth I highly recommend.

I am...WAS a regular for both lunches and dinners until yesterday. I was eating a taco salad and pulled a big wet, cold, napkin out of my mouth! I almost threw up the very little that I had eaten. I told our server and placed what was in my mouth back on the plate and gave it to her. This... More

The Lake Trout was very good. The waitress was sincere and friendly and very efficient. Our salad perfect, and the wild rice amazing! We ate early as we had missed lunch, and are not sorry we stopped. Loved the beautiful woodwork, most I think is solid oak, and well cared for, a truly historic restaurant with a very happy chef... Four of us had dinner in the dining room and the service was fantastic! The Pork chops were very good, the potato soup delicious and the salad was good but not much flavor. We moved to the bar part after dinner and the entertainment was fantastic. Atmosphere was fun...I would return for beer and onion rings!!

Like Michaels in Rochester (54 years old), Pickwick is not your modern " uptown" place but 100 years old and classic and timeless. The dark wood interior is rich and elegant with a lovely view, and the food is traditional. There is nothing like good drinks, onion rings, steak, and walleye served pleasantly and promptly in a castle atmosphere while... More

I've been going to the Pickwick for many years, and am never disappointed. Ordered the walleye (and of course, some onion rings) and loved every bite. Also enjoyed the root beer on tap - though I rarely drink root beer, it's a must (for me) at the Pickwick.

The reviews were mixed for this place but we really wanted to experience this 100 year old eatery. We went in knowing from the reviews that the food and service probably wouldn't be that great. We were so pleasantly surprised! Service was prompt and friendly. The food was fantastic. Not just good. Not decent. Fantastic. Tried the onion rings, tenderloin... More

Lake view from dining room. our party of three had shrimp dinner (excellent portion of jumbo shrimp), scallops with vegetable over orzo (very tasty), and new York strip (cooked as requested). This is a restaurant which has been around for a long time in Duluth. Thought it could have been better lit. Lots of old dark wood for it's traditional... More

We had a very favorable first time meal at the Pickwick a few evenings ago. Our food was well prepared, hot and tasty. Pork chops, walleye and smoked whitefish piccata were enjoyed by the four of us. The salads were good and the bread was served hot and was quite good. We enjoyed watching the sailboat races from the outside... More

Pickwick brags about their steaks. We had three filets at our table that were all overcooked and overall dull. Plates included some limp looking vegetables. Appetizers were better and a better value. Sadly they chose to have a band playing at 8 PM which made it hard to talk during our meal. Prices are on the higher side. Hard to... More
