The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!

Meal very good but the service ruined the experience

My husband and I had dinner here for his birthday and were looking forward to a great evening and meal. Our waitress was very close to rude and very inattentive. Upon arrival she asked for my husbands' drink order first (rule of thumb I thought was "ladies first'") She not only asked my husband... read more

Our family decided to try the Pickwick for Easter Dinner because my wife heard great reviews about their onion rings (very good). The Host greeted us with a smile and directed us to great seating overlooking Lake Superior. Trevor filled our water glasses promptly with a smile and charming personality. The waitress came and was very informative and punctual. The... More

5 guys went on a Saturday night for the prime rib special. It was a fine meal, with great service, and a good wine list. A bit of sticker shock when the bill came but we all agreed that we would return, given the chance.

We have been eating here for years . And although the service is pretty good , thier food is no longer cocsistent . Talked to the manager and not too concerned . I guess they will rely on one time customers and not locals !

The food and experience used to be the best in Duluth for all occasions. The Pepperjack Burger with Onion Rings and a side of 1919 Root Beer! Man that was the best. Unfortunately the best place for this type of meal now is Grandma's by the Mall. That has returned to it's former glory! Pickwick has not.

We inquired to our young serve Marijah, if the Pickwick had a Gluten Free menu, she said they did not , but they could accommodate all guests, and that she would speak to the Executive chef to make sure that the we could dine in confidence. My wife asked about a chicken breast, wrapped in cheese and bacon, with a... More

We came in when the restaurant was very slow - around 2:30 pm. Mickey, our waitress, could not have been more gracious to us. She suggested items that we might like and took care of our special requests. We ordered the Lake Superior Salad with added vegetables. It was delicious - the smoked whitefish was plentiful and the wild rice,... More

This may be one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The food was out of this world! A little more expensive, but definitely worth every penny. We had the smoked Lake Superior whitefish for an appetizer; it came with hearty crackers, hard boiled eggs, capers, red onions, and a dipping sauce. Almost a meal in itself, and such... More

My wife and I stopped in to the Pickwick after a stay at Fitger's Inn. The Pickwick came with a high recommendation from a friend of mine. We were there early, so we were only able to choose from the lunch menu, but they had a great selection of sandwiches and burgers. I tried the Pepper burger, which is a... More

The Pickwick Restaurant & Pub is a historic restaurant located in Duluth, MN. It's right on Lake Superior, so get a seat by a window for some gorgeous views. The dark, rich woods make for a nice ambience. The food is quite good, but a little pricey. Their clam chowder is off the hook! Do NOT miss it if you're... More
