Description: The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake...
The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!

Nice plac for a late lunch

Stopped in for a late lunch last weekend. Good food and service. A little more expensive than other places but still an enjoyable time. The place certainly has some character and a great view of the lake from the dining room area if you choose to sit there.

We stopped here for a HH drink and $6 apps on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We were at the Portland Malt Shoppe a few doors down for the kids so figured the adults should get a beverage too. During HH fro 3-6 they had deals on beer, house wine and rail drinks. Our cheese bread was nothing special but the... More

We were in town for the MS TRAM and finished our day early and wanted to grab lunch before we drove back to the cities. It was around 3pm and not busy at all so we were quickly seated. They have excellent happy hour drink and food specials. We ordered beers and they were only like $2.50 each. We also... More

A truly beautiful building! Such detail inside- the bar and dining area just ooze out history and a one of a kind beauty. Delicious food, accommodating staff, clean bathrooms & an intimate view of the lake. Great for a dinner date or a quick lunch. Older crowd, especially for dinner hour, so if you have smaller children maybe consider going... More

We had a late lunch/early dinner at 3:00pm, off the lunch menu. We sat in the dining room, with its Tudor style walls, ceiling and furniture, and got a window table overlooking Lake Superior. Good wine list, full bar, good service (we were the only ones in the dining room) and the best French dip we've had in many months.... More

This establishment dates back to 1914, apparently in the same location, and it has a heavy or dark wood charm from that era. I went with a business party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meal a great deal. The walleye is exceptional. Apple crisp is huge -- order one and share among two people.

First time being here, not impressed. We sat in the pub, after trying to decide whether they offered table service or if we needed to order at the bar we sat at a table and waited. Our waitress was nice, we ordered a couple beers and looked over the menu, we asked what was a "must try" for first timers.... More

Went here on a whim spending the day in Duluth. Great spot; loved the atmosphere and the views were great. Loved the walleye fingers and the tuna sandwich I had was great...my husband's burger was awesome too. If you love oniony onion rings, you'll love them here. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has been a destination for diners in Duluth for over 100 years. The dark wood panelling and murals are reminiscent of another era. There is free parking on the side of the restaurant, but parking in front is metered. On nice days there is an outdoor patio. Tables near the windows have a stunning view of Lake Superior.... More
