The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!

Great atmosphere and even better food

This may be one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The food was out of this world! A little more expensive, but definitely worth every penny. We had the smoked Lake Superior whitefish for an appetizer; it came with hearty crackers, hard boiled eggs, capers, red onions, and a dipping... read more

My wife and I stopped in to the Pickwick after a stay at Fitger's Inn. The Pickwick came with a high recommendation from a friend of mine. We were there early, so we were only able to choose from the lunch menu, but they had a great selection of sandwiches and burgers. I tried the Pepper burger, which is a... More

The Pickwick Restaurant & Pub is a historic restaurant located in Duluth, MN. It's right on Lake Superior, so get a seat by a window for some gorgeous views. The dark, rich woods make for a nice ambience. The food is quite good, but a little pricey. Their clam chowder is off the hook! Do NOT miss it if you're... More

I Have nothing but good to say about this place, the atmosphere is classic old school steakhouse, everything we ate was fabulous!!! The service was excellent. It is a little pricey but it is well worth it. We will definitely return

Stopped by with my hubby for happy hour tonight and had an appetizer and some lovely ice-cold Stella and Bell's Two-Hearted Ale. Perfection.

The ambiance was great. I had the new england clam chowder and cod - ok...daughter had the noodles (of course) and my wife and the french onion and tuna sandwich. The soups were excellent and did I mention the ambiance was awesome. I'm sure there are many other great menu items, especially for dinner. We opted to eat in the... More

We have eaten at many Duluth restaurants and for some reason missed this one, which we tried just before Christmas. Such a good place! I was worried when we walked through the door and heard the band tuning up in the bar. But the dining room was far enough away from the bar that we could hear the music, but... More

We had a group of 9 up for the weekend to see a hockey game at 7:07 and then take in Bentleyville. A 5:00 reservation should keep things relaxed. We were even early, and got seated in a room with a view of the lake. The bread was good, cocktails very good, and clam chowder even better. But our waitress... More

In business for over 100 years. There is a reason this restaurant has successfully endured the time. The place is a classic steak house and fine dining restaurant. Clean and hand crafted interior you know you are walking into a quality restaurant. Our server was Val. He was a consummate professional and the food was amazing. It is an adult... More

We were there on a quiet Sunday night and sat in the pub area of the restaurant. There is also a more formal dining area available. We got our menus and water very quickly but after that we seemed to become invisible to our waitress. However, once we got her attention, the service for the rest of the evening was... More
