Description: Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure...
Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.

Enjoyable!

This is the perfect place for dinner if you're staying at a Canal Park hotel! The food isn't mind-blowing amazing but it's yummy. A great selection on the menu and the staff was fast and pleasant. Don't go here if you're looking for a relaxing meal though, it's pretty loud and always busy.

My kids loved the cheese curd option for their meal. We went over lunch time on a week day and it was still plenty busy. They handled it easily though. If nice, sitting outside even though the menu is slightly different.

Great food! A Duluth icon! Tried chicken pot pie this time, very tasty. Fun for groups, families or couples.

My husband and I have traveled to Duluth three times in the past 15 years, and each time we've always made a point to have dinner at Grandma's. The restaurant has changed and grown over the years. The first time we stayed in town there was only one Grandma's, which was downtown near the harbor and lift bridge. It has... More

The food was great and very large portions. The pot pie was excellent. So was the very large serving of walleye. A definite place to visit.

It's your Tolken tourist place. Grandma sounds like an awesome person if you read the menu but the wait is always 30 mins to get a table. Once you get a table, the service is extremely average, and the food takes forever to come out. Drinks are not cheap either but if you go to duluth, you gotta go to... More

Good place for lunch. Went with co-workers. Great Walleye sandwich. Service by bartender at lunch was very slow but will give it another try when in town again. Might be a good bar to try at night.

We ate there at lunch time. Even though it was crowded, we were seated promptly and our waitress was very good. She made suggestions about what to eat and places to go. A very nice experience.

Grandma's is a local favorite in Duluth. There has to be a lot of history there, because the food just isn't remarkable by any stretch. Staff is friendly enough, so no complaints there. The place gets really crowded, though, and that slows things down. I can be patient and wait for something really great but if the food is mediocre... More

We made a reservation for our family, we arrived 20 minutes early just because of timing. We waited probably 15 minutes after our scheduled time to actually get seated. It then took a very long time to get the waitress to come over and take just our drink order. Then for the food order, it took even longer. Nothing tasted... More
