We were in Duluth the last weekend in September, which was Octoberfest at Grandma's. They had a polka band playing and made the atmosphere even more fun than it usually is. Great food and good choice of beer.

I went to this restaurant thinking it would be something fun to do on a nice day. Our service wAs horrible and I would never go back again. The good is some of the worst bar food I have ever had and it came out completely cold. Tony boen. The manager did nothing to help this experience with my family.... More

We where more than happy with out meal at Grandma's. Either of us have ever been to Duluth let alone Grandma's. But every thing we read or heard about it came true. A very nice place. Very good service and the meal's we both had where oh so yummy. The price was not bad at all. Many daily special's to... More

The restaurant has an ample parking lot, a nice touch given its location in the touristy Canal Park section. There is a lovely view of Lake Superior and the friendly staff is helpful, but the food just isn’t good. The Walleye cake appetizer was only OK. The steak kebab was over tenderized. The Walleye lakeshore platter appeared large, but this... More

We decided to give this place a try after hearing how good this place was. We had about a 20 minute wait not to bad, but the food was just not that great it was just Ok nothing like what we where told. We could have lived without stopping here to eat.

At the hotels suggestion we tried Grandmas . The service was good, the food was too. Portions were large. I had a chicken and wild rice dish which was great. My husband had the walleye which he enjoyed. It was a full house. .

This place is just a fun place to go to when in Duluth. If you expect fine cuisine, that isn't the spot for you, but if you want some pretty good food, good service, decent drinks and a fun atmosphere then by all means give Grandma's a try. One of our kids always has the Walleye Meal. The other has... More

Visiting Duluth with our dad and saw this place and thought we would try it out. It was a 40 minute wait so we went over to the lift bridge and watched a large freighter depart. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer and I ordered the bratwurst and it was great!!

We had our mid day meal here and had so much food to eat we did not need to eat supper. Husband ordered Walleye Fillet Sandwich while I ordered the locally made bratwurst (huge!) and we swapped half so we could each have some of the yummy options! We could have easily ordered one meal and shared, but what fun... More

Great location for this restaurant. Service was on the slower side. I noticed others questioning where their food was as well so we were not the only ones! The food was great! The only other thing that effected their rating was the extras that were charged us. I typically spice things up with jalapenos and they charged an additional $0.50... More
