We went to Grandmas with the adult children and their 6 month old. We had to wait for a half hour but there was some sort of tournament in town and it was the weekend. We were able to find seats while we waited so it was not that bad. They also have a large retail area so you can... More

We were surprised when we walked in at 6:30 on a Tuesday night & they had a 30 minute wait. We were even more surprised when we did get seated & saw there were tons of open tables they just didn't have enough staff to deal with everyone. I hadn't eaten at a Grandma's in at least 10 years &... More

The family has eaten at Grandma's in the past and wanted to go their again. Grandma's came through. The staff was great. Service was fast. This visit the food was exceptional. We had wild rice soup, clam chowder, and French onion and all three were perfect. We had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, burger, and two chicken tetrazzinis. Wow were they... More

Had visitors from out of town, so where else do you take them? Best thing is you can still count on great classics like Dante's Inferno, chicken tetrazzini, and the best chicken wild rice soup anywhere. Plus, a bonus is the same bartenders that were there when the place opened back in about 1973. We opted for the Munich Melt... More

Great food large portions enough to split a plate. Loved the huge onion rings and the mushrooms were also great.

We were in Duluth the last weekend in September, which was Octoberfest at Grandma's. They had a polka band playing and made the atmosphere even more fun than it usually is. Great food and good choice of beer.

I went to this restaurant thinking it would be something fun to do on a nice day. Our service wAs horrible and I would never go back again. The good is some of the worst bar food I have ever had and it came out completely cold. Tony boen. The manager did nothing to help this experience with my family.... More

The restaurant has an ample parking lot, a nice touch given its location in the touristy Canal Park section. There is a lovely view of Lake Superior and the friendly staff is helpful, but the food just isn’t good. The Walleye cake appetizer was only OK. The steak kebab was over tenderized. The Walleye lakeshore platter appeared large, but this... More

We decided to give this place a try after hearing how good this place was. We had about a 20 minute wait not to bad, but the food was just not that great it was just Ok nothing like what we where told. We could have lived without stopping here to eat.
