Description: Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns...
Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.

Wonderful chai and gluten free muffin

What a great place! We only stopped by for bakery items but the food passing us by made me wonder why we did not have breakfast here instead of the free breakfast at the hotel. The chai is homemade and wonderful, not too sweet and not too tangy!

We had a chai and some pastries here. The chai was just right with the amount of spice and milk. Not too heavy as you'd sometimes get elsewhere. Highly recommended.

You may not notice it as you walk by in Canal Park (especially in the winter), but this little bakery can put together some heartwarming foods. In the summer, there is nice shaded outside patio dining. We visited in December, so the entry is through the mall and then down the stairs. We enjoyed the potato soup, delicious! And freshly... This was our second trip to the Amazing Grace Cafe. I sought it out because it has such a comfy-cozy atmosphere, the coffee is great and the food is superb. I love the house-made bread, and the sandwiches are HUGE. It's great to have some tried-and-true places to revisit when we're at the North Shore.

This little cafe is located in the basement of the Dewitt building in canal park. It's an eclectic little establishment decorated in a generous side of whimsy inside an old industrial basement (the windows are just above ground level). The food was very good, excellent baker products cooked on site, the hash browns also appeared to be made in the... More

The lattes were very good as well as the bakery items, coffee cake and a cookie. Pleasant atmosphere.

It was not busy and the service was not good for only have 8 customers in there. Waited too long to be seated and food came out cold and my french toast was burnt on the edges. I thought it was also overpriced.

Chose it because it was close to hotel, will go back because it was amazing. The breakfast was original, gourmet. The muffins to die for. Great atmosphere, with original decor. One of the coolest coffee shops we have been in. Their sign says it for them: Be Kind, Be Brave, Don't drink bad coffee.

We tried Amazing Grace based on a recommendation from a friend while we were on our honeymoon. We loved the character of the place and we had terrific service (it was a Monday morning, so it wasn't too busy, which was great). We tried the corned beef hash and oatmeal pancakes and both were amazing. The next time we're in... More
