Description: Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns...
Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.

Walked in for dessert

I bought a couple of ginger cookies for my kids and they were pretty good but nothing super special considering it was $4+

One of my favorite local spots in Duluth. The bread is amazing, and the soup is great as well! They have great pastries and a coffee shop as well. The live music they have frequently is a nice touch.

Picked up sandwiches for a picnic and found a nice variety of offerings. Fresh vegetables are included with the sandwiches. The breads are excellent!

Iced tea and a treat were very good. On Thursdays they had live music inside and outside, which was fun to listen to. Coffee smelled good and the sandwich menu looked intriguing, if i'd been hungry for more than a snack. I'll go back for a meal the next trip to Duluth.

Saturday morning crowd of what seemed to be locals produced a 1/2 hour wait but once seated our service was very good as was or food. My bacon was thick sliced and cooked just like I like it.

Visited Duluth this summer and my daughter introduced me to the sandwiches at Amazing Grace. Pick your bread, filling, dressings etc and buy a half sandwich which is more than enough for $7! This became a regular lunching place during my stay

Okay...a bit of an explanation here...my wife loved this place and I wasn't a big fan...but then she ate here at least a half dozen times and I only came once. I had a sandwich which was utterly forgettable on my one and only visit...almost no meat in it...lots of fixings in freshly baked bread that unfortunately fell apart in... More

Went for breakfast, seating took 15 min that's good, our order taken after a short wait. Then we really didn't see the waitress much after that,, after a 45 min wait it showed up. Very greasy food and maple syrup we could not recognize. Very over priced and very slow. We got a smart remark when asked what's taking so... More

This is a fantastic place. We found the staff to be very competent and helpful. The food is fantastic - we had the lakewalk special and ginger and carrot soup. I have never tasted soup so flavourful and filling!!! I highly recommend this place. In regards to other reviews complaining about wait times, yes we had to wait a while... More

We visited twice because they had good breakfasts, and at our hotel they had the usual breakfast bar. So this restaurant was a godsend. The wait staff were excellent. I found the oatmeal fantastic.
