Description: Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.

Seriously only get the 1/2 of sandwich. I ordered a half of gluten free and got 2 full sandwiches!! Fun atmosphere. Dine inside or out.

Had their oatmeal pancakes with blueberries. They were awesome and I was stuffed for most of the day! It is very busy, so be prepared to wait. It is so worth the wait!

This year it was hot tea and fresh cookies which the team enjoyed. Will be there again next year when the leaves turn to yellow and orange.

With so few options, this place fills up fast. It is quaint and homey in the partially underground setting. I am sure the patio is nice in fair weather. The wait for food was longer than expected, but they were very full. My breakfast burrito was tasty and well made though not anything special. Caramel roll was huge with great... More

We visited the cafe on a Saturday around 11am so it was quite busy. Nice atmosphere. 25 min wait to be seated, took the waitress another 15 min to take our order (she was very nice/busy to her credit) and then another 20 min before we ate. The french toast was the only thing worth it's price. Large pieces that... More

We stop here often when in Duluth, usually for coffee and a muffin or scone. Have observed some really tasty looking sandwiches and salads and plan to order some when we are there for a meal. It's always busy and crowded - understandably so. Décor is funky and the coffee is better than the big chains offer.

Went for breakfast and the food was way over priced. An omelet should not cost $13.00, but we gave it a shot and learned our lesson. Other than that the service was great!

Just a block from the Aerial Lift Bridge, this location is a hidden gem (it's located DOWNSTAIRS). The menu was small but mighty featuring a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. For those with dietary needs, they do offer gluten-free options worth checking out. Beware the portions are rather large so consider splitting a sandwich which leaves room for dessert... More

The Duluth Sourdough was one of our favorites. We have always picked up a loaf on the way up to the North Shore. Unfortunately, they changed it and it's very ho hum and bland. Very sad indeed, and one less stop for us to make. Too bad....
