Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.

Nice atmosphere for a cup of coffee

We stopped here for a cup of coffee. They had organic coffee and a choice of roasts. The pastries and sandwiches looked good, and it would be anise place for lunch. The atmosphere is homey with various sized table.

Took forever to have a sandwich made. Then when I went to pay for my meal, I asked for a slice of carrot cake. The girl ringing me up made such a deal out of it, I told her nevermind. She said ok and let me leave unhappy. Id never come back here.

I ordered the !/2 (not the whole) turkey on white with swiss cheese and mayo. It came with greens and tomatoes and lettuce and cucumbers. WOW - I barely got through it even though it was the first meal of the day at it was late. Great tasting meat and everything was fresh.

Soup was good but the fit the maker through to get it or have him correct the mistake he made to our order wasn't worth it. Snarky comments and throwing food almost made us walk out. Won't return and suggest going to one of the other better establishments in the area.

This is the real deal! A truly cool coffee house with great food and beverages. Kind of hipppie, but always great. They have board games, live music at times, journals on the tables to jot down your thoughts. Great place to hang out and connect with friends or family. Even our kids love it!

I like unique coffee shops. I could tell as soon as I parked and walked toward Amazing Grace that I would enjoy this one. It is located in the basement of the historic Dewitt building. I walked through an archway and down a half flight of steps, though an adorable courtyard that had me wishing I was here in the... More

Everything here is made from scratch. Joe's hashbrowns are incredible. French toast amazing. Oatmeal second to none. The sandwiches are huge and delicious. My only complaint was despite not being that busy it took an hour to get our food. I think the industry standard to shoot for is under 15 minutes. But it is worth the wait. We have... More

I have been there for Breakfast and Dinner and both are fabulous! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming and everyone working has a smile on their face. The coffee was amazing. Our server was Jordyn and she was very attentive and friendly.

I was excited to bring my husband in here to eat! I had been telling him how good it was when my mom and i came in for quiche. Imagine my disappointment when we went in and were not acknowledged for ten minutes. There were Not a lot of customers! So we decided maybe you were supposed to wait to... More

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your comments. I would like to apologize for what sounds like an unacceptable experience at the Amazing Grace. We have been going through a few transitions with our kitchen and service staff. If you do decide to return, and we hope you do, I'm sure you will have a... More

My fiance got the gluten free chocolate cookies, and she gave it a 1 star, called it gross, and threw it out. I got the chocolate chip cookie and it was just average. I could make better. The place was packed though so it's probably better than our experience, just don't waste your money on the cookies.
