The atmosphere at Tycoons makes it worth visiting -- located in downtown at the location of Duluth's old jailhouse, Tycoons brings out an old-fashioned, rich vibe. It's perfect for date night or friends night out. The food is decent and the wear is business casual. Definitely somewhere worth stopping in Duluth. BTW: Try the wild rice burger with the side... We went to Tycoons on Sunday at 12:30pm for lunch. There was only two other people in the restaurant with us, so it must not be a popular Sunday morning spot. The food was pretty good, but it seemed to take a long time to get it considering we were one of the only ones there. I heard they recently... More

We came here on a recommendation of a friend was were not disappointed. The decor is amazing and the history behind the building is so interesting. The Rathskeller downstairs is a MUST see (it opens at 5:00 pm). It is down where the jail cells used to be and is really cool!! We both had the bone in ribeye steak... More

Had dinner and drinks and it was all great. So good that we came back and ordered take out the next night. The night we ate in-house we started out with the fried pickles and Mac & Cheese - the Mac & cheese was awesome, pickles were good. Everyone in our party had a different salad and they were all... First off - iPhone GPS led us to the wrong place address. We had been at the casino, in public parking, paid and left, drove around and finally called them. Ended up back in the same public parking we had just left! Tycoons is right across the street from the casino. Tycoons is a neat place. It used to be... More

WOW!! The best valued meal we have had in a long time. Food and prices were great. My husband and I split the chicken artichoke dinner and there was plenty for two. We shared the deviled egg appetizer- great flavors. We split the blueberry bread pudding - terrific. We will be back.

I came here because I was photographing a reception here. The manager was nice and let us in early to help get the venue set up for the night. The room was decorated with a vintage flair that was just lovely. The food was delicious, especially for wedding food. Would love to try a normal meal there sometime, but alas,... More

Our meal here was very satisfying and reasonably priced. we split the smoked fish appetizer and the pot roast for two. The location was really cool in a historic old city building. We went down for a drink in the basement after, which was really cool. If we'd known about it, we'd have started with a cocktail there and then... More

We were hungry and tired and just stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad we did. Top notch service, the food was to die for... Fish and chips, and half rack of ribs... Fall off the bone scrumptious! Will def tell others about it!

Our waiter was having a bad day or he just wasn't that good. Forgot about the salad and it took him a long time to deliver the check (same thing happened to the table next to us). Not very busy. The Rathskeller is not to be missed, however (take the elevator to floor -1). Great selection of craft beers (the... More
