Food OK, service friendly but inaccurate. Decent, but there are better breakfast places in the area.
I'm a fan of cozy neighborhood breakfast eateries, and this is one I'll definitely go back to. It's clean, bright and cozy, and the owner Rhonda is genuine and friendly. Eggs, bacon and hashbrowns..all very good and in a generous quantity. Waitress was extremely welcoming and kind. Old style cafe. Would definitely go back if we were in the neighborhood. Only distraction was the flat screen tv over the counter seating area...could have done without that. Plenty of off-street parking.
I have been here a handful of times. The service is excellent, and so is the breakfast! Favorite is the kielbasa and scrambled eggs special. You can even get the orders to go! And perfect corned beef hash.
This restaurant is located in the old Eggie's Café but the space has been recently remodeled and looks good. My only complaint is that it gets cold in the winter if you sit by the front door as the door opens directly onto the street. They have a fake fireplace space heater near the front door that helps warm you... More
