We love going to Maucieri's! The onion soup is delicious, and the bottomless house salad that comes with entrees is awesome. We eat a ton of it every time we're there. As a local, I would definitely put this restaurant as one of the top three in Crosslake, A note on the menu: "gravy" is red sauce. The pizza is... More

We went for the all you can eat pasta bar. My husband and I were disappointed to learn (after going through a second time) that you couldn't take home any left overs. We wouldn't have gone through a second time or paid that much if we had known that because it was soooo wasteful. No wonder other counties hate us...... More

Great food. Clam fettuccini was fantastic. Service was wonderful. Our server was Lexi and she was outstanding. A definite stop for dinner while up-north.

What are they thinking at Maucieri's? They closed off the main dining room and put up a partition in the extremely noisy bar and you feel like you are dining in a hallway! The food has been mediocre at best for the last couple of years and with this new configuration, we won't be back. I have also heard the... More

Their homemade sausage is beyond fantastic. My favorite restaurant in the area. Bottomless salad is very good, house wines are also good. The only difficulty is selecting a menu item. Their only downside is no expresso:(

Good food, nothing really special but always tasty. Love their little outdoor area and the pasta bar!

Maucieri's has fresh, homemade Italian dishes, and a menu with lots of choices. It's one of the few places like it in Crosslake; many of our eateries have frozen, run-of-the-mill burgers, chicken strips, etc. It's my go-to spot for a special occasion.

They just can't seem to get it right at Maucieri's. The service is mediocre, the hostess gets flustered when more than 2 parties are waiting, the manager hides behind the bar and never circulates the room to see how patrons are doing and the owner sits at the bar and drinks. The food is rarely consistent and the bread, for an... More

Minneapolis is full of excellent fine dining and neighborhood Italian restaurants, yet 2 hours North the vacationers seem happy with this restaurant. It is not an Italian restaurant by any measure. The sauces were thin and tasteless, the chicken tough. The salad average at best and soup of the day in an Italian restaurant was chicken noodle, chicken noodle! It... More
